Description
Level 763 is the 764th level of the Backrooms. Commonly referred to by travelers as "The Zoo".
Level 763 is similar in layout to Level 0, although with various differences. The yellow-tan wallpaper than adorned Level 0 has been swapped out for a more fitting shade in Level 763, a dark-green color reminiscent of foliage found in the Frontrooms.
Level 763 is home to the Zookeepers. A species of entity that carry the tasks of maintaining the level. They can be observed doing various upkeep jobs such as cleaning enclosures, feeding entities, restocking the gift shops, and guiding travelers around the level, although the directions they give often lead to unrelated areas if not anywhere at all.
As mentioned before, Level 763 has certain areas referred to as Gift Shops, containing various items that one may expect to see such as;
- Clothing items
- Snacks and Candies
- Figurines and Play Sets depicting the various entities found in the level
- Trinkets such as magnets and lapel pins
The items can be purchased from the gift shops in exchange for various amounts of almond water, although the amount paid rarely equates to the actual value of the item, nor is consistent between different gift shops, although a baseline range for the prices has been established

Level 763 has been used by M.E.G. as a resource in which to study entities and their mannerisms in a controlled environment, as a result much as been learned about the more common entities inhabiting the Backrooms, such as Skin Stealers, Deathmoths, PartyGoers, and Scream Eaters to name a few.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
The Zookeepers
- The Zookeepers, while not usually accepting towards outsiders have been known to assist those in need if the situation seemed dire.
- Not open to trade for the most part. Rather, they source the items they need to survive from the various "gift shops" located around the level.
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
- Most common entrance is to interact with a "Corrupted Entity", although entrances to Level 763 have been reported after falling asleep in levels in which entities are common.
Exits
- Various exit doors located around the level leading back to either Level 1 or to the level in which you entered from.
