Lava river in Level 315.

Level 315 is the 316th level of the backrooms.

Description

Level 315 consists of a lava river constantly flowing with furniture. The objects usually consist of recliners, chairs, tables, beds, and couches. There are geysers that sometimes spew out lava and are extremely dangerous. Sometimes lava fountains can rise out of the river, lifting furniture. Although it is rare, it is likely to be seen when visiting this level. There are no available images of the lava fountain phenomena.

This level is useful, even if dangerous, as Firesalt can be found here, in-between couch cushions. The furniture is not flammable, and they are the only usable platforms in this level, as there is rock on the side of the river, but the ground immediately combusts when stepped on, so it is best avoided. It is possible to find SOS phones in the form of cell phones or old flip-phones in this level, hidden in furniture.

Drone Footage:

A M.E.G. drone was sent out on 2/14/03 to investigate beyond the combusting ground. After about 15 minutes of the drone being in the air, the M.E.G. team was viewing the drone view, when the drone fell out of the sky and into the lava. A M.E.G. operative recalled the entire footage. The interview was as follows:

Interviewer: Fred Maidly
Interviewee: Ethan Valdez

<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Please state your name.
Ethan: My name is Ethan Valdez, I am a M.E.G. operative.
Interviewer: Thank you. So what do you recall the footage contained?
Ethan: Well, I remember the drone lifted off, and already something was… off.
Interviewer: Elaborate.
Ethan: There was a sudden fog, it wasn't there before, it just.. showed up.
Interviewer: A fog?
Ethan: Yes, it was red. Continuing, we saw pools of lava, with constant geysers shooting out red hot magma.
Interviewer: What happened next?
Ethan: The fog started condensing, turning into clouds, then the clouds had lava instead of rain. There was massive bolts of lightning, the M.E.G. team retreated into a small tent they had constructed.
Interviewer: Where is said tent?
[CRYING IS HEARD, SLOWLY TURNING INTO SOBBING]
Interviewer: What's wrong? Did I say something upset-
Ethan: SHE'S GONE! THE TENT WAS LIFTED BY A GEYSER AND THEN IT WAS TIPPED OVER INTO THE LAVA!
[A TISSUE IS HEARD, FOLLOWED BY SOMEONE BLOWING THEIR NOSE]
Interviewer: I am quite sorry, but the final question: what happened before the drone was lost?
[SOMEONE BLOWING THEIR NOSE IS HEARD]
Ethan: Yeah sorry, the drone saw some structure. It kind of looked like that building on level 28, but a red glow was emitting from the building. After that, the drone was hit by a lightning bolt, and the rest of the footage was never recovered.
Interviewer: Wait, what do you mean rest of footage?
Ethan: We have reason to believe the drone was turned back on, and kept recording.
[INTELLIGIBLE]
Ethan: By who? Well, we don't know, but maybe S̶̜͒ò̸̪̇́̚m̶̢̥̻̬͍̅̓̅̚ĕ̵͖̬͕̠̂ͅ ̷̢̬̈̈̍͐t̶̡̠̠̾̈́̚͜͠͠ͅh̶̩̻̬̏̎̏͠i̶̺̮̝̽͠n̶̨̝̣̝̼̈g̷͎̰͈̞̦̃̍̔̚͠s̶̯͋̈́̉ ą̶̧̨̛̣͚͔̬̹͕̫͈̲̼̩̤͇̬̲͚̋̍̉̿̒̅̑̌̈́̀̓̓ͅr̷͓͓̟̝̫͍̗̊͋̿͋̇̎̉̉̈́͗̃̇́̈͝͝e̸̡͚̣͍̩̮̪̞͉̣̟̗̫͖̅̐̐̐̾̎̚͝ ̶̡̫̤̺͍̙̥͓͓̙͓̱̫̞̮͓̯̝͗͗͋̈̿̎̉͑̂͠͠͝b̸̜̈́͌͛̐̂̉̆̎̚̕͘ȩ̶̧̨̥͚̱͔͈̯̬̥̯̻̞̫̫̗̤̥͉̝͎͓͑̇͐̀̀̓̃͆̈́̒̑̃̀̊̇̋͊̓͂͒̚͜ͅͅs̸̛̛̭̳̼͌͆̽̈́͛͂̅̇͊̏̀̀̑̋̒̚͘͘t̸̛͓̙̠̥͓̮̙͇͓̞͚̳͙͍̻̗̊͑̃̉̓͆̉̃͗̍̌̃͗̃̈́͌͛͆̈̅̐͂̒̕͜͝ͅ ̴̨̨̨̠̮̜͈̺̜͇͖̘̪̼͓̜̩̺̪̤͌̍͑́͆́̂̓͑̓̊̑͜l̵̢̛̬̳̬̞̩̞͇̺̘͎̞̘̳̼̪̑͝ẻ̸͙̜͇͔̭͎̜͔̦̩͗̀̌̇͑̓̈͐̈̄̌̓̎̏̅͛̌̕͝͝f̸̨̛̳̼̺͍̜̫̩̼̍͒̈͒̎̎́͒͒̏͜͜͜͝͝ͅt̴̨̢͖̤̪͓͙̥͎̞̥͇͇͙͖̰̮̙̟̗̞͔̮̥̓̒̊̈́́͌̓̋̌͒̄́̅̒̑́̔̍̅̐̕u̷̡͉̫̗̼͉̺͚̪̺͖̲̠̤̲̿̓͐͑̑͘̕͜ͅn̷̥̙̼̭̪͉͖̭̺͎̺͔̎͑̕͜t̶̝̟͍̦̯̦͉͓̠̘̫̜͔͐̈́̾͆ͅô̶̥͉͔̞̋̈̍́͠ṵ̶͓̲̫̞̺̞̯̰̭͚͓͕̖̞͖͐̎̋ç̷̗͚͍͔͐̑̔͂̽͒͌̀̓͊̎̅̚͘͠͝ḧ̷̭̪̼͕́͗̄͒̀͛̄̕ȩ̷̤̝̖͚͍͉̖̰̤̪̈́̅̏̎̓͌̊̿́͜d̸̜̗̫̪̩̳̭̖̻͚̟̦̓̃͐̕.̷̫͉͎͍̫̤̗͍̱̈́͑̋̓̃͆͝͠ͅ

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:

You have to dive into a anomalous lava pool in Level 42 and stay in it until you feel your life-force draining, which feels like a vacuum-suction on your heart. When you are transported here, you are healed. A much safer option is to noclip into Firesalt growing in corners to get to Level 315.

Exits:

Traverse down the lava river for an unspecified amount of time, and jump in a section of the lava river that is either blue, white, or green. These can send you to either Level 317, Level 255, or Level 321. It is also possible to find purple lava that sends you to Level 474, but it is extremely rare.
