Level 85 is the 86th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 85, also known as “The Factory” resembles an old car factory from the 1900s. The level seems to be filled by a distinctive void similar to the Blue Channel which causes the level to be covered completely by a black and white film, similar to how pictures back in the earlier to mid 1900s appeared. The level is almost devoid of useful supplies with only a few recorded findings of Almond Water. Despite the lack of useful supplies, level 85 is filled with tools, metal scrap and old cars in a state of disrepair. The Level itself is collapsed and wrecked which makes it dangerous and tricky to traverse. along with the dangers of the environment it also is very dimly lit in some areas making the surrounding area even more dangerous and tricky to traverse. It's believed that the level is roughly 3 million square miles.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
"There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level currently." However, it's theorized that some members of the B.N.T.G come here on supply runs to collect metal scrap and other supplies to make things or trade with. It's also theorized that The M.E.G is planning to build a permanent base within this level but so far it's been nothing more then speculation.
Entity Information
Along with the danger of traversing the level, it's also mainly inhabited by passive, frozen Facelings. Although they are the most common entities in this level, they are still quite rare with only 9 total sightings from wanderers. No attempt to converse with the Facelings have yet been made and we aren't sure why they are in this state of suspended animation or on this level for that matter. One leading theory is that it's connected to level 255's entity. With its biggest piece of evidence being that the facelings become much more sparse and are suspended in much more horrific and disturbing poses the closer you get to the believed entrance of level 255. However, further research is required. Along with the Facelings, there have been 2 unproven sightings of Smilers lurking in the shadows of the level. Unfortunately, due to the level only recently being discovered, we are yet to discover if any other entities are present.
Wanderer Information
It's recommended when traveling in this level to bring multiple people with you, to bring a source of light, and to stock up on supplies. Due to the unsafe conditions of the level, the dimly lit sections and the sparse supplies. Communication equipment does work within this level and has a virtually infinite range. It's believed that the level was discovered in 2023, though evidence suggests that it was discovered by The Lost much prior to our discoveries.
