The Noctambula School is the ### Level of the backrooms.
This level is known as the Chocobytes' favorite haunt.
Steeped in the nostalgic charm of the 70s and 80s, it is presumed to have been conceived in 1965, although it wasn't discovered until 2012.
🗒️ Description
Level [X], known as “The Noctambula School,” consists of an educational structure of approximately 9,000 m², divided into three main wings connected by rectangular hallways that are 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high.
The walls—especially in hallways and classrooms—are primarily composed of concrete blocks painted in an acrylic salmon color that appears freshly painted despite the level’s retro setting. The lower half of the walls is covered with dark laminated wood panels, slightly cracked and lightly dusted.
As you pass through the hallways, you'll encounter children's drawings and decorations hanging from the ceiling, giving the space a nostalgic atmosphere.
The ceiling appears to be made of the same material as the walls but painted in a muted peach tone, decorated with tiny cobwebs, aged fluorescent lights, and some humidity stains, while the floor has a smooth texture and a reddish-brown color.
The deeper you explore, you’ll begin to hear the laughter of children and teachers' voices from the classrooms and even see some kids opening lockers and gathering their belongings. Any child who sees you may mistake you for a teacher and greet you, ask you where the bathroom is, or simply ignore you and pass by.

The Hallways
Some who have been in the hallways have talked about feeling it longer and, in some cases, endlessly. Its true distance is 100 meters, but some vary depending on where they lead. During recess, the children will be running, playing, and checking their lockers, and they won't leave you alone when it comes to questions.
Once recess is over, some of the lockers will be open and filled with useful items, like "Almond Water" and some "ChocoBytes" of the Mocca Mocca! variant, while others will be empty or locked.
It was found that children often walk through the hallways on their passes to go to the bathroom, the auditorium, etc., and they tend to get furious or alert a teacher if they see you checking belongings in the lockers.
You will be taken to Ms. Titella, and you won't be able to leave until it gets dark.
Lockers
Los casilleros permanecen cerrados una vez que los niños entran a sus aulas. Algunas permanecen sin llave, y puedes llevarte los objetos dentro siempre y cuando ningún otro niño, o peor aún, Ms. Titella, te vea.
Al abrir los casilleros, suelen ser lo suficientemente grandes como para caber dentro. Los artículos que encuentras son muy variados, y es común encontrar casilleros vacíos. Encontrarás lo siguiente:
ChocoBytes: Las famosas barras de chocolate. Encontrarás las dos variedades más comunes: Chocobytes Original y Chocobytes Mocha Mocha. La tercera variedad, Chocobytes White, será muy difícil de encontrar y es casi imposible encontrarla en los casilleros.
Agua de almendras: Un artículo muy común que acompaña a los Chocobytes. Sus termos metálicos siempre estarán en buen estado. Los que encontrarás en este nivel son:
Verde
Azul
Gris
Lucky O’ milk: Un producto que reemplaza el agua de almendras para niños con alergia a los frutos secos. A diferencia del agua de almendras, no es tan común, pero sí aparece en algunos casilleros y se puede canjear en la cafetería escolar. Las variantes que puedes encontrar son:
Chocolate:común.
Fresa: Muy común.
Natural/Regular: Muy común.
Matcha: no se recomienda aquí. Común.
classrooms
Las aulas tienen una apariencia mucho más vintage y son un poco más amplias. Cuenta con pizarras con reposaderas para tizas y pupitres de un color crema opaco. Hay dibujos hechos por niños pegados en las paredes y las ventanas mantienen cortinas de un rojo claro con puntos negros.
