Level 128 is the 129th level of the Backrooms. It was discovered on 11/7/2019 by a breakaway group of B.N.T.G. members.

Description

Level 128 is a never-ending series of bowling lanes which stretch for an unmeasurable distance in both left and right directions. The lanes have an overall neon theme, and are numbered from the number -1000 to an incalculable amount of positive numbers. It should also be noted that every wanderer who enters the level will always appear in either lane 128, -567 or 0. A faint unidentified electronic song can always be heard playing on this level. A short clip of the faint music will be listed below. We apologize for the background noise left in the audio.

You can find several doors on the walls, but most of them are locked. The unlocked ones usually lead to another level, or rarely, Storage Closets. Storage Closets are rooms inside of Level 128 which can be found behind unlocked doors or no-clips. Storage Closets usually contain bowling pins, bowling balls and soda beverages. Don't drink the soda, though, because it's expired. If you crawl behind the bowling pins in Level 128, it is expected that you will fall into an unending void, but this is unconfirmed. The bowling lanes also often distort and defy gravity.

Level 128 appears to be exempt from the Wretched Cycle, as lack of sleep or any other causes of the Wretched Cycle will simply result in the wanderer dying once it should reach Stage 2. This level is also prone to cause colorblindness, though it is always temporary and will fade away after approximately 2 days.

Food Courts

Food Courts are areas that can be found in Level 128. They contain tables, stools and cash registers, and a display of food. The food appears to be edible, but they are usually swarmed with a special variant of flies that is exclusive to the Backrooms. Wi-Fi is also available in Food Courts, but it usually cuts off because of the Bursters. Don't go to them, though, since Bursters are infested throughout these areas. But if you're in an armed group, you can exterminate the Bursters and form an outpost. No one has tried this yet.

Entities

Like most levels in The Backrooms, Level 128 contains entities. The most common entities found in the level are Bursters. Bursters can be commonly found on this level, and are considered the main threat of this level. But that does not mean Bursters are the only entities that reside in this level. Level 128 also has a specific type of Faceling that is known to only reside in this level. These Facelings are known as Headlings.

Headlings

Headlings are docile entities that can be found in Level 128. Headlings are usually seen walking through the alleys. You can spot a Headling easily, they have a quite large head and no face. Headlings are non-hostile, and incredibly ignorant. They completely ignore any wanderer that is trying to interact with them, and only do so if provoked. If you provoke a Headling, they will sim ply walk away from you. It seems to be impossible to outrun them, since they will always walk a faster speed than you.

Bases, Outposts and Communities

B.N.T.G. Outpost: Lane 12560 (Under Construction)

An outpost that is currently being worked on by the B.N.T.G. It has been in construction for 1 year, and has an average of 6 people working on it per day. Situated near a storage closet on Lane 12560. One of the easiest outposts to locate. Not recommended to stay here, as it's still under construction. During breaks, they play bowling together.

Entrances And Exits

Entrances

Entering doors with a bowling pin symbol in Level 283 will lead you into this level.

Exits

Unlocked doors can lead to Level 2, Level 120, and rarely Level 93. It is presumed that unlocked doors can lead to more than these 3 levels, though.
