Description
Level The Monochrome Madness resembles long tunnel hallways, the level seems to have non euclidean geometery and can change its layout at any time.
The level has many strange phenomena.
Firstly anyone entering this level will see everything (aside some objects) in gray or a slightly different color. Which causes extreme discomfort and confusion. Also the lights in the level emit this "dark" light, (similar to level 1.5), making this level very hard to navigate.
This level has a high entity count, which might not seem like it. But because of its very confusing properties encountering entities becomes less common.
Entities on this level includes partygoers , skinstealers , hounds , smilers and other commonly found entities in the backrooms.Entities appear to be more agressive in this level.
Rarely one might find small rooms in the level. The rooms have open doors, but occasionally the door will be sealed shut and has to be opened by brute force. These rooms ussually have useful supplies for survival, but most of the times these rooms are trapped by partygoers. If you see and abundance of supplies, balloons or cakes do not enter the room. You will most likely have to enter one of these rooms if you want to escape the level.
In the level flashlights and any electronic devices wont work. Due to the size and properies of the level, there are no documented instance of 2 wanderers meeting on this level.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
Due to the nature of the level, its impossible to set up an outpost in this level.
Level Shifting
The level is somehow able to change its layout. For example, the hallway becoming shorter when you look behind you. Or a wall appearing infront of you when not looking forward. These shifts could help you escape entities or lead you to them. They happen when least expected.
There is also a different,more dangerous way the level could change its layout.
At random the level will be in complete darkness. Making it almost impossible to navigate. If this happens you have 30 minutes to find a room and enter it. After the 30 minute mark the tunnels will be completely filled with an unknown solid,crushing anyone in. After a couple of minutes, the darkness fades away and you are able to leave the room you are in and continue exploring. Due to this its recommended to stay in a safe room if you found one.
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
There is only one consistent method of entering the level.
Finding a grey double door in level 1 and walking through it sends you here.
Exits
Due to a strange property of the level, you are unable to exit this level before 24 hours has passed.
Finding a door labeled as exit, sends you to a random level in the backrooms.
Finding a pool in one of the rooms with blue water and submerging yourself in, you will find yourself in level 37 after exiting the water.
Finding a double door with a "1" on it will lead you back to level 1.
