Level 567 - "Castles In The Valley"
Included page "component:level-class" does not exist (create it now)
Level 567 is the 568th level of The sɯooɹʞɔɐq.
It is largely unknown/uʍouʞ who discovered this level.
One of the many castles in Level 567.
Description
Level 567 is an extremely large valley that is surrounded by large hills. In the valley, there are many castles scattered randomly around the entire valley, ranging from smaller castles to very large castles. The castles are usually safe to enter, even though there are a variety of castles that are unsafe. Most of the castles have a chance to randomly disappear and appear elsewhere in the valley, making these castles very unsafe because these castles seem to crumble, turn into dust, then appear in another location. This phenomenon has been documented by the M.E.G. and is now known as Crashing. There are some castles, however, that do not have this quality, making them the only safe castles in the valley. Some castles also have features like moats, castle walls, drawbridges, and watch towers. Going past the hills is dangerous, due to it being littered with a high number of hostile entities, such as Hounds, Skin-Stealers, Wretches, and Deathmoths. Because of this, this area has been known as No-Man's Land. These entities have not been reported to commonly roam inside the valley, but this could be due to the Knight Corps or the Round Table dispatching them. This level also has its very own entities, such as the Death Knights, the Four Horsemen, and ɹoɹǝdɯƎ ǝslɐℲ ǝɥʇ. The level also has a day and night cycle, weather cycle, and seasonal cycles.
A sketch of the Obsidian Fortress.
Obsidian Fortress
Obsidian Fortress is located in the exact center of Level 567. It is the largest castle in the entire level, also having a large castle wall made of obsidian, a large lava moat, and an obsidian drawbridge. This castle also is always floating in the sky, about 250 ft (76.2 m) in the sky at all times during the day, but at night, it returns to the ground. This is also the place where ɹoɹǝdɯƎ ǝslɐℲ ǝɥʇ resides. It is the most dangerous area of Level 567. It also houses a high number of Death Knights. The castle appears much larger on the inside than it does on the outside for unknown reasons and appears to stretch infinitely. Not much else is known about this structure.
A castle in No-Man's Land.
No-Man's Land
No-Man's Land is the second most dangerous area in Level 567 due to its high entity count. The environment also appears to change drastically, appearing to have multiple large mountains that sometimes have cavern openings in them. No Man's Land is also the area where the Four Horsemen reside, although sightings of them are very rare. There are also castles in No-Man's Land, but they are usually darker and usually have many entities in them. The area is also easy to get lost in due to its changing landscape, and it is a challenge to get back into the valley. This area also does not follow the same properties as the Valley, as it has a short-day cycle and an extremely long night cycle. The weather cycles in this location are usually very short but devastating. There have been reports of tornadoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters typically seen in the Frontrooms. It is heavily recommended to avoid this area if in Level 567.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
There are only three known factions in the valley, those being the Knight Corps, the Ironsmiths, and the Round Table. All three factions have all interacted with each other and appear to be allies with one another. The M.E.G. have not set up a base in this level yet, but are aiming to do so.
Knight Corps
- Resides in the second-largest castle in the valley, this castle is near the center of the level.
- Has around 1500 members.
- Has members patrolling around the castle as well as around the valley frequently; essentially the guardians of the valley.
- They are quite protective of the valley, making them slightly hostile to wanderers.
- They are allied with the Ironsmiths.
- All members are skilled in combat.
- Each member has a blue plume on their helmets.
- Their captains all have blue cloaks that have a distinctive symbol to tell them apart.
- In a constant war with ɹoɹǝdɯƎ ǝslɐℲ ǝɥʇ and the Black Knights.
The Ironsmiths
- They are located by the edge of the valley; their castle has multiple watchtowers and a castle wall around it.
- Has around 25 members.
- All of their members are skilled blacksmiths and engineers.
- Has a large door at the back of the castle that leads to Level 817; they likely get their materials from there.
- Willing to trade with others for supplies; they also are willing to take special orders to tools and armor for rarer items.
- They all have their own personal forges inside the castle.
- The walls of their castle have automated turrets that have a near infinite supply of ammunition.
The Round Table
- Located in a medium sized castle that has eight giant metal legs, castle is usually moving around the level. The legs were created by the Ironsmiths for a special order.
- Consists of 10 members, each is named after the members of the Knights of the Round Table.
- Their leader is Lancelot.
- Each member specializes in a different weapon, making them an effective team. They are an elite fighting group.
- They are allied with the Knight Corps.
Public Logs
Report 1: All three factions are allied with each other and are all fighting ɹoɹǝdɯƎ ǝslɐℲ ǝɥʇ and the Black Knights, but there have been reports of members of the Knight Corps, the Ironsmiths, and the Round Table being seen in other levels.
Report 2: The Round Table's Castle has been seen following the Obsidian Castle during the day.
Report 1: The level appears to only change after passing the hills that surround the valley.
Report 2: Almond Water has been seen around the valley.
Report 3: The Valley of Level 567 has been reported to exhibit a strange phenomenon. It has a random chance to become infested with a high number of entities, ranging from friendly to hostile. This phenomenon can be randomly triggered by the time cycle, weather cycle, and seasonal cycles. The phenomenon's chance of happening will increase each day that it is not triggered, to a maximum of a 50% chance of triggering.
Report 1: No-Man's Land appears to be changing more frequently when the Valley is in its winter or fall state.
Report 2: More hostile entities have been seen roaming No-Man's Land in summer and fall. There also appears to be a single castle that appears to be unaffected by No-Man's Land's constant changing.
Report 1: The Obsidian Castle has been seen moving around the level during the day but returning to the center of level at night.
Report 1: There have been semi-frequent sightings of the Red Knight in this level.
Report 2: The Squires have been seen in the valley of Level 567 multiple times.
Report 1: There have been reports of Smilers being seen rarely in castles, as well as appearing more frequently in caverns in No-Man's Land.
Report 2: Multiple hounds have been seen roaming the hills of Level 567 at sunset. Thankfully, most were quickly dispatched by the Knight Corps.
Report 1: Plague Goblins have been sighted in the valley at times, usually by the hills surrounding the level. This could be a good trading opportunity.
Report 2: There have been a few sightings of Warning Kites around the level, usually when a wanderer approaches the hills of Level 567.
Report 1: ˙ǝlʇsɐƆ uɐᴉpᴉsqO ǝɥʇ uᴉ uǝǝs ʇsɐl sɐʍ ɹǝlnɹ ǝslɐℲ ǝɥ┴

Report 1: The Four Horsemen have been seen on the hills of The Valley before returning to No-Man's Land. No one knows what this could mean, if anything at all.
M.E.G. Logs
Logs Regarding Setting Up Base: "Fortress"
Due to the nature of this level and the number of entities that reside within, it will be a challenge for us to create a set up a base here. A majority of the castles here are prone to Crashing.
- Rob
Finding a castle that won't crash is extremely challenging to do. Their crash times are varied, so we have to wait as short as seconds to as long as days to crash. At least none of them so far have appeared to take a week to crash, so that's a good sign, I think. We should've gotten more people to help out with finding a castle here, that would've sped up this whole process a whole lot!
- Bobby
Logs Regarding the Valley of Level 567, the Factions, and the Obsidian Castle
The Valley is an extremely large place. It takes around three to four days to walk from one end of it to the other, and around a full week to go all around it. Bobby and I have been travelling around this level, still trying to set up the M.E.G. Base. The level also exhibits a strange phenomenon Bobby and I have called "Crashing". This phenomenon seems to only happen with the castles here. There's three words that describe this level. Two-Faced, irritating, and… I don't know. It's hard to describe this level. Back on topic, Bobby and I have also seen some people that got to the good castles before we got here. We haven't interacted with them much, so we don't know what they call themselves yet. We're going to look into that soon. They seem to be in three different groups. I believe the most powerful out of all three of them are the ones that are in that moving castle. We'll probably end up talking to them last. Bobby and I seem to be closest to the group by the hills, so we'll talk to them first.
- Rob
Rob and I have gone into the castle by the hills. We've learned that the group that lives in this castle call themselves "The Ironsmiths". That name is kind of cool. They're a group of wanderers that are really good at blacksmithing and engineering. They have all sorts of stuff around this castle to protect themselves like turrets on their watchtowers. They're also the reason why that moving castle has its legs. Oh, they also told us the names of the other two groups, which they call "Factions". The largest group is called the "Knight Corps", and the group with the moving castle is called "the Round Table". The Ironsmiths also have a large door in the back of the castle that leads to Level 817. They've also told us that they can give us some tools if we trade some of our supplies. To me, that doesn't seem like such a bad idea, but Rob seems skeptical about it because they haven't told us exactly how much they want and what they want for the items, all they said it was for a price. Rob asked what they want, but the only reply was "Let's see what you have." I hope that they don't want anything too drastic.
- Bobby
Rob and I traded with the Ironsmiths. They wanted twenty bottles of Almond Water, which was a steep price, but luckily almond water could be found relatively fast in this level. After we gave them the Almond Water, they led us to their weapon room. Rob chose an axe, and I chose a sword. Now I feel much safer! I believe it'd be a good idea for us to become allies with this group when we finally find a place for the M.E.G. Base. It may not be such a bad idea for us to also try to become allies with the other two factions.
- Bobby
Bobby and I have met the other two factions. The Knight Corps was slightly hostile at first, but after talking with them for a while, they have become more friendly with us. They are located in the second biggest castle, located to the castle in the center which is known as the Obsidian Castle. They've told us that an entity they call ɹɆⱠ∩ɹ Ɇ₴˥₳Ⅎ ɆⱧꞱ lives in that castle along with his own army which is known as the "Death Knights". The Knight Corps is allied with the other two factions, and they are in a constant war with the False Ruler and his army. Finding the Round Table was quite a challenge due to their moving castle. Luckily, we found them just at the right time when they were paying a visit to the Ironsmiths. The Round Table is an elite fighting force that is essentially the powerhouse of the faction alliance. There's only twelve of them as well, and they fight in a group like a well-oiled machine! After talking with them, we made our way to the Obsidian Castle. It wasn't hard to find, due to it floating in the center of the level. We had to go in at night, because it seems like that is the only time it lands on the ground. It was not a good place to be in. Bobby and I had to fight a couple groups of Death Knights, and we got to what I believe is the center of the whole castle, due to it having the throne where ɹēł∩ɹ ēꞩ˥ⱥℲ ēĦʇ was sitting. He saw us. We had to run as fast as we could to get out of there. His entire army was chasing us the whole way back to the entrance of the castle! The good news is that when we got out of the castle, the Death Knights just… froze. They were just standing there at the entrance to the castle. After a few minutes, however, they turned around and just walked deeper into the castle. Safe to say, Bobby and I are likely never going back into there again.
- Rob
Logs Regarding No Man's Land
Bobby and I went outside of the Valley. We now call that place No-Man's Land. It's infested with entities. Not long after we entered No-Man's Land, we saw a couple packs of Wretches. Both packs had at least fifty wretches each! We stayed as far away from them as possible. We passed a couple castles out here, but each one seemed to be infested with hounds, deathmoths, more wretches, and a few skin stealers. This place is extremely dangerous. As we kept trekking further into this area, we noticed that the landscape was constantly changing. The process was as short as a couple seconds to as long as a few minutes. The castles that exist here as well also crash frequently at a higher rate than those in the Valley. It'd probably be best for us to make our way back now, before this… this hellscape swallows us whole.
- Rob
Rob and I are… quite lost now. The constant changing of the landscape has made us lost our way, and the size of the mountains makes it near impossible to see the green of the Valley's hills. During our travels in No-Man's Land, we saw four people on horseback. First we saw them running past us in the distance. Then, we saw them run past again, this time much closer than before. The last encounter was much different. They started running up to us. Naturally, Rob and I immediately started running the other direction and trying to find a place where we could hopefully lose them, but the castles around us were all infested, not to mention the packs of wretches that were nearby. Then, the people on the horses caught up to us. They grabbed both of us. Rob and I thought this was the end… but then, they threw us onto the back of two of their horses. We thought we were going deeper into No-Man's Land. But then, we started to see the green of the Valley. The people on horseback saved us. We're calling them "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse", or the Four Horsemen for short. Just as the Valley seems to have its guardians, the Four Horsemen appear to be the guardians of No-Man's Land. If they didn't appear, Rob and I probably would've ended up lost forever.
