The Rainforest

Description

Level 413 manifests itself as a massive island covered with a rainforest. The rainforest is blanketed by a never-ending mist; this mist seems to be intelligent. The forest has a rich ecosystem filled with passive entities. The level has no day-night cycle; as a result, the level is perpetually trapped in a misty morning atmosphere. The rainforest is around the size of Antarctica from the Frontrooms. The rainforest has occasional shacks; usually there are 5โ€“10 shacks in proximity to each other. The villagers have already renovated most of these shacks.

Multiple fruits from the Frontrooms can be found here, except they have increased vitamin content, and some even have protein in them. These fruits are dragon fruits (otherwise known as pitayas), mangos, cherries, blueberries, and raspberries. Some vegetables are also present in Level 413; these are potatoes, peas, tomatoes, onions, and corn. There can also be common rivers flowing through the forest. These rivers contain fish with increased vitamin content; this makes them another good source of sustenance. They have no beginning; however, after traveling 372 km, they will reach the end. Every river on Level 413 flows into one point, a land with a hilly landscape and many, many shacks. This place is rumored to be another level, since the river is so long almost no wanderers have reached that point. This place has not been discovered yet.

Bases, Outposts, and Communities

The level is very habitable; this means setting up bases is relatively easy.

The Villagers

The villagers usually set up bases near areas with a lot of fruit trees and rivers. Almost all of the time they are open to trading. Their goal is to make the level more habitable. They have more than 1000 bases set up across Level 413; the reason for having so many settlements is because they made the level even safer than before. Through more than 15 decades of work, they have managed to accomplish tasks that are not accomplished in the Frontrooms, such as peace across the entire level and almost every wanderer having shelter and sustenance.

The Followers of the Mist

They pray to the mist, as if it were a god to them. Their settlements are in proximity to the temple. They follow a peaceful but mysterious lifestyle. Not much is known about them; however, they seem to have answers to almost every question on the mist.

The Entities

It is thought that the least harmful species of animals got stuck on this level. After decades of living on this level made them almost fully harmless, the mist also seems to have a slight effect on this.

The Mist

The mist is an entity that possesses beyond-human intelligence. The mist tries to take wanderers to Level 413 when they are in physical or mental danger. It usually appears 5m from wanderers, since it tries to take them here. The mist seems to keep every dangerous thing away from its home; its goal is to protect wanderers from danger. The mist rarely appears and can appear on any level. The way the mist manages to get to different levels is unknown by most wanderers; however, some wanderers that live on level 413 have a few theories. They think the mist travels to other levels by no-clipping; this theory itself gives more unanswered questions, for example, how does it move in levels that are indoors? The Followers of the Mist seem to have answers to all of these questions, although they do not want to share this information with wanderers outside of their group. The Followers of The Mist do not have concrete answears to the Mist's intellingence, however they have described it ti other inhabitants of the level. They Think that the Mist is some sort of spirit or Gรถd.

The False Danger

They take the appearance of a passive alligator. Their scales could be an excellent material for building and weapons too. They often give their scales to wanderers. Some of them could make for excellent pets; some wanderers even keep them as pets due to their smaller size and them being herbivores. They are half the size of their counterparts. Their behavior is similar to modern house cats. They are even friendlier around children. The first villagers of the level were afraid of these creatures; however, over time, humans have domesticated these creatures.

The Protectors of Health

These entities resemble spider-like creatures. Due to these creatures, spoilage is not an issue in this level, nor is disease. Once the wanderer enters this level, they will not catch any disease if these creatures are on that level. It is unknown how these creatures managed to accomplish these. So far they have shown no aggression towards anything. These entities do not have any physical difference from their frontrooms variants. The effect of these entities was discovered when they were observed killing harmful bacteria and viruses under a microscope.

The Giant Isopods

This entity takes the appearance of an isopod. The creature lurks underground. The isopod makes the soil on this level way more habitable to crops on the level. This creature has only rarely been seen. The creature is 10 times larger than its counterpart. This entity does not pose any danger to anything. Due to this, they make farming better on this level.

The Emerald Beetles

The emerald beetle looks like a rainbow stag beetle. These creatures dig up seeds from the ground; these seeds can be from any plant. Some of the villages use these entities as currency due to their usefulness and vibrant shells. The beetles make the level even more habitable than before. A villager even grew more than 3000 crops using the emerald beetles and giant isopods

Structures

On Level 413, there exist two man-made structures; these two are

The Temple

The temple resembles an Aztec temple. This temple is thought to be a sign of Aztecs visiting this level before modern humans. The temple has no supplies on the interior. The temple's mystery and beauty made it a landmark on Level 413. The temple lies at exactly the center of the level.

The Shacks

The shacks used to be old and decrepit; now they are more modern and resemble houses in villages. They usually have a basic layout that can be found in a normal house. Some even have functioning computers with Wi-Fi. These shacks provide basic shelter on Level 413.

Connections to other levels

This level is right before Level 414, which is also a habitable level.
M.E.G. officers have nicknamed these two levels the "Habitable Twins."
This forest is thought to be an extension of Level 48's rainforest.

Entrances And Exits

Entrances

There are only 2 ways to enter this level; these are:

  • Thinking of a rainforest for more than 2 minutes on Level 260 will cause the wanderer to wake up on Level 413.
  • Find the Mist in a random level and follow it; however, this is quite rare, and this makes Level 260 the only reliable way to enter Level 413.

Exits

One can exit Level 413 four ways; all the levels listed either have none or barely any danger.

  • Following vines into a cave leads to Level 414.
  • Reaching the beach of Level 413 leads to Level 48.
  • Entering a door that is labeled "Field of Forts" leads to Level 184
