You may hear their whispers but you'll never free them nor end their deserved suffering. For their eternal punishment shall be made an example to all others who intend to manipulate the powers of the backrooms for their own again. Their are powerful, are but powerless here.

Description

*Level 903** is located in an underground desert like temple, with rooms and tunnels stretching to around 800 kilometers. The flooring of the level varies from sand, stone, and on rare occasions water. The walls have a semi smooth stone layout and rarely show any caving's or pictures.

An area near the HoldingCell

The texture of the rooms color ranges from grey to bright yellow, however parts of the temple's rooms or area's will be colored blue. This color often indicates that the your near a "Holding Cell" within the temple. (Check Base's section below for more info)

Navigating the level is extremely dangerous for in experience wanderers. The sand experiences a reaction similar to fluidized bed throughout the entire level. This means the sand moves and operates similar to liquid, and can be dangerous in rooms that don't have standard stone floor below. Many inexperienced wanderers have suffocated to death from succumbing to almost liquid like sand. Its advised to use a long stick to test of the floors are secured below while travelling through the temple. Its been theorized that the room is able to create fluidized sand being have small pipes blow oxygen from the bottom upwards through the stone cracks.

The room has standard lighting from both golden gas lanterns and natural light. It been observed that the Golden Gas Lanterns have the ability to continuously light itself. Its unknown how it performs this function, however attempting to steal these gold lanterns is impossible (since the Gold Lanterns are permanently anchored into the walls and indestructible). The level appears to always be in a preputial daytime, with the outside being visual from the top floor of the level. However, going outside is ill-advised as the environment resembles a droughted area the appears to span forever into the distance.

Floor 2 of level 903.

Another hazard of the level, is its psychological effect on the wanderer. People that have experienced this level mentioned that they could hear voices whispering into their ear, despite no one being around them. The longer a person spends their time in the level the more clearer these voice become. One survivor mentioned hearing a voice saying "help us, save us". Due to recent tests provide by the MEG, it has been confirmed that these effects are true and will occur in the level. Victims that had prolong exposure to this level begin to suffer signs of schizophrenia, severe depression, and suicidal thoughts. Further exposure can cause the victim to become violent, and aggressive toward other survivors. Many attempt to locate the holding cell, causing them to be killed by a Strandscrew. This effect as been designated as "Temple Sickness".

Despite the environmental and psychological hazards, level 903 happens to be the only level that can allow survivors to sustain themselves with water and food. To specify, people that had experience some form of dehydration or hunger had reported feeling hydrated and full as soon as they entered the level. This feeling would linger after they leave the level. It is possible to live in level 903, if your able to overcome the psychological and environmental hazards present in this level. Its unknown how this effect occurs or why it was designed. Its possible this effect was Specifically made for people that are being held in the HoldingCell.

Multiple floors make up the level, although its unknown how deep this level is. With the lowest that a person has travel being six floors. The survivor had mentioned that it was severally darker then top floor was, and that he could hear crawling sounds.

The level is only comprised of one entity referred to as the Strandscrew. These entites can only be found in the HoldingCell and never venture off far from their area.

HoldingCell

An empty HoldingCell area.

The HoldingCell is an area within level 903. Its general easy to find HoldingCell's, as you'll need to navigate through blue rooms to reach one. However, its generally unsafe to approach these rooms as the effect of "Temple Sickness" increase drastically.

There is also the threat of meeting an unstable Strandscrew within these areas. HoldingCell's often have an open space with blue decorated walls around them, with a gate in the middle. Its impossible to open the gate, as it requires a key. A Strandscrew will guard these rooms, attacking anyone that attempts to open the gate. However, as mentioned before some Strandscrews are unstable and attack without hesitation.

Its unknown whats behind the gate of any HoldingCell area. Faint sounds crying, or yelling can be heard from inside. Its possible that an ancient group is being held inside these HoldingCell. For what reason is unknown however.

Rarely, an empty HoldingCell can be found. Area's such as these often have a deceased Strandscrew outside the room.
