The lone chapel under the violet sky.

Level 413 consists of a silent grass pasture with a perpetual dark purple sky with no sun. In the center of the pasture there sits a lone, small, white chapel. The chapel is visible from any point in the pasture, no matter how far you walk away from it. The chapel does not shrink or grow depending on how far you walk towards or away from it. Walking away from the chapel causes the horizon to curve inward, meaning that leaving the chapel’s predicted proximity is virtually impossible.

The only way to enter the chapel is to run in a straight line from the direction you first entered from. After an uncertain amount of time, the horizon will level out. Once the horizon levels out, the only safe place to go is the chapel.

+ Bases, Outposts and Communities

Level 413 contains two major factions that inhabit or claim the chapel as sacred ground. Both originated from the same congregation, but their beliefs have diverged beyond reconciliation.

The Order Of The Crimson Veil:

The Order Of The Crimson Veil is a sect that formed after an event that split the First Congregational Church into two separate groups.
The Order believes that sacrifice is the only path to salvation.
They wear deep crimson robes and hold ceremonies involving blood "a symbol of divine language."

Their sermons often begin with the phrase:

“To bleed is to speak with God.”

Members of the Veil see Pastor Matthew as a bridge to salvation. They also see him as a prophet who transcended humanity through his Sacrifice.
They are often found near the altar, performing rituals that involve the Chalice of Blood, believing each ritual brings them closer to divine truth.

Foundational Belifes:
- Blood is the language of creation.
- The backrooms are not a prison, but a holy plane of reflection.
- Pain cleanses the soul, death renews the body.
- Pastor Matthew’s wounds are sacred and is a ultimate sacrifice .
