Image of a Space Clock running on an unidentified level.
Space Clock is an hourglass with the property to traverse through the different sectors of the 4th dimension in a 3rd-dimensional perspective.
Description
Space Clocks resemble traditional hourglasses, with black round magnetic balls inside them. There are tags on both ends of a Space Clock, marked "top" and "bottom", acting as indicators telling which side is top and bottom allowing for customized scrolling through the planes of reality. Space Clocks are indestructible, and everlasting. They also come in different sizes which also affects their properties accordingly.
Properties
When a Space Clock is activated by flipping it which allows the flow of the black sand from one side to another, it will scroll through every plane of reality at a constant rate. When all the "sand" has gone from one side to another, the plane of 4th-dimensional space in the 3rd-dimensional perspective will finish 1 cycle, returning to the original plane of 4th dimension in the user's perspective. Only the one holding a running Space Clock will be moved from one plane to another. Other humans and entities not holding the clock will see the user disappearing and reappearing later after a certain amount of time when the cycle has been completed. When natural causes flip a Space Clock and not by a living organism, it will transport itself through one cycle before completing it and reappearing back to where it was. When an attempt to break it is committed, the one who has done the action to destroy or damage the clock will be glitched between two or more planes of reality as the clock malfunctions. A clock with a larger size and longer cycle will scroll through reality at a much slower rate than a smaller and faster clock1. Space Clock also can't be no-clipped and will only remain on the level in which it was found. The black sand inside of a Space Clock is accessible through a cap on the "bottom" end of the clock, which then the sand will spill out. The black sand doesn't have any effects on a living organism but when making contact with non-living objects, it will make them glitch violently and jump through different planes at tremendous speed. The black sand can also be consumed but it is not recommended to do so as it will result in the wanderer themself glitching and jumping through the 4th and higher dimensions, which means that they are as good as dead. When a magnet stops a running Space Clock, the traveler will settle on that one plane they're at until the magnet is rereleased. This allowed for customized plane traversing and time at which someone could stay at it. When a different sand-like material is inserted into it on the "bottom" part and gets activated, time will flow backward at the constant speed of 1 second/second.
What a Rubik's cube would look like after the black sand is sprinkled onto it2.
Uses
Due to transporting only the one holding it, a Space Clock paired up with a magnet can be a swift escape for some wanderers when encountering an entity. Due to the vacuum inside the clock which when opened will make it shoot out the black sand at extreme speed, it can be used as an offensive short-ranged shotgun-like weapon to attack others and entities.
Locations
These clocks can rarely be found in one of the bushes on Level 101, on the desk in a cabin on Level 103, in one of the corners of a room on Level 107, in one of the biohazard rooms of Level 109, and floating in the void of Level 110.
