Premise

There was once a group of entities inhabiting the Backrooms many centuries ago that all held a great power. This power led to the newly developed Backborn societies to begin seeing these beings as gods and creating a religion dedicated to them. This led to the entities ascending to actual godhood and all achieving a newfound purpose, to be the gods humanity desperately wanted them to be. But unfortunately, the differences, mindsets, and flaws that completely separated the humans from the gods caused deep internal conflicts, until one day a war between the two waged after much blood was spilled. The gods disappeared after the war, but it's believed they did not die, but they are simply hiding in plain sight, but nobody truly notices. They are now nothing more than a lost tale to the public. Here lie their stories.
