Greetings, I am Arn Darby, Research lead of the Eden project. I am reporting about a potential error during the stabilization process of level 314 that our science team discovered. The B.N.T.G. science team's latest research concluded that the Euclid Device, being a prototype, had a bug in its geometric loading software, leading to unstable geometry on higher floors. We calculated that the effect will be visible at around floor 1300 beyond which the distortions will increase exponentially, signs of distortion include non-euclidian geometry, noclipping zones, and fractured reality. We strongly recommend delaying the opening date of the apartment and stabilize geometry in the level which could take between 3 to 6 months depending on our progress rate. We would also need additional funds for the project.

Hello, I am Wilson Pottinger. Unfortunately, demand for our apartment is very high right now and delaying the launch will reduce demand. Since the Eden project is already in debt, the Board of Directors did not permit an extension of the deadline at the cost of safety. I tried to get more funds for the science department the Board of Directors declined all requests. I am thus coerced into keeping the opening date on 02/04/2022. I must stress that I absolutely agree with your suggestion, and I believe that the Board of Directors’ negligence towards safety will ultimately lead to tragedy. The best I can do right now is to limit on our apartment sales to a maximum of 1300 floors while you come up with a solution, sadly there is no guarantee the floor limit will remain. I will try my best to redirect as much revenue generated from preorders to the science department as I can. To avoid mass panic, all personnel outside the science department should be prohibited from knowing about the problem.

Hello, I am supervisor Wilson Pottinger of level 314. I am glad to inform you that floors 6-1300 have all been ordered. Our preorders will end now and adding further floors will only be done after the glitch with the Euclid Device is resolved due to safety concerns. With the revenue generated by the preorders, our science team is already hard at work in solving the issue. However, there is no chance it will be done by the launch day. Thus, for the safety of the people, please extend the deadline for our debt so we can fix the issue.

Since you have put all your revenue generated to the science team, you are ordered to expand the maximum floor to 1500 and sell preorders in an auction to maximize revenue. Your marketing team should place the advertisement in the attached files across the Backrooms. While we are concerned about safety our profit should be at the highest priority and redundant safety measures like this often cause inefficiency.

Dear Level 314 Managers,
I am John Rhinehart and I just got my Category D apartment on floor 1304 with furniture preinstalled and I am heavily dissatisfied about what was provided for the price. The "Bestrooms" furniture were made of paper, the wallpaper and roof paint have pieces missing already, the television wasn't even working, and I took it apart to find out the wires were made of plastic! The coffee machine that came for free was also dysfunctional and was stuffed with Firesalt inside without any wiring. When inspecting a broken piece of roofing I got noclipped into level 11, which is weird because I thought the geometry in the level was completely stable. This is honestly very disappointing for you managers to be this greedy and cutting your spending to maximize profit by scamming us, something such a large company like the B.N.T.G. shouldn't be doing. I attached a picture of the piece of roofing that caused the noclipping event. I am requesting a refund for all the furniture and free remodeling and geometry stabilization services to make my apartment functional.

MYSTERIOUS NOCLIPPINGS IN B.N.T.G.'S NEW APARTMENT

On April 2 2022, the B.N.T.G. opened their new apartment building on level 314 after a few months of hype and preorders for as much as ß18,000,000. However, shortly after opening, there were multiple disappearances and noclippings.

The apartment is part of the B.N.T.G.'s Eden project which converted level 314, a previously empty level, into an apartment using a device called the Euclid Device. The project was revealed to the public on January 23 2022, and preorders began on March 27 2022. Initially, only the first 1300 floors were open to preorder but floors 1300 to 1500 became available to preorder due to high demand. After opening people have reported to have gone missing or noclipped to other levels. We were able to interview an inhabitant who purchased an apartment on floor 1317 who noclipped into level 1, who commented that "the apartment was a mess and there were many places that were not remodeled". He also reported that he "noclipped to level 1 by accident when [he] was backing away from a wall that looked glitchy and fell over". Another individual who purchased an apartment on floor 1341 reported that she "saw B.N.T.G. staff hurriedly stuff mangled corpses of Backrooms Remodeling Co. employees into a cabinet" and that a child "walked near a distorted zone and was torn to shreds". She then said that when attempting to leave the level, she was stopped by B.N.T.G. staff and had to "run down 200 floors using the emergency staircase while being chased until [she] got on an elevator". All cases of noclippings and disappearances have occurred at floors 1300 or above, however there are also reports of residents across the apartment complaining about low quality remodeling and furniture.

The B.N.T.G. denies all reports of low quality furniture or unstable geometry, calling them "false reports" and "attempts to stir up mass panic", and will not accept any refund requests. The M.E.G. has not yet been able to send a reporter to the building to investigate as the B.N.T.G. only allows residents in the residential area. Nonetheless, the reports of low quality and unsafe apartments caused the price of the apartments to drop by 300%, making the Eden Project severely in debt. Additionally, the event also tarnished the B.N.T.G.'s reputation and caused many netizens in the Backrooms to question the quality of B.N.T.G. products. The B.N.T.G. seems to be framing the project as an independent initiative done by the supervisor of the project, Wilson Pottinger, and has been operated with low influence from the Board of Directors, but conflicting reports suggests this may not be the case. The Board of Directors of the B.N.T.G. stated that they sent a SOC Task Force to investigate the apartment and no reports are heard from about this task force yet.
