What you are about to see is a notebook written by Tanaka Takada, a Japanese wanderer who discovered Level 2.1, and we will translate the contents of the notebook to make it easier to read.

Finally, I managed to get out of that creepy hallway, but what I saw was even stranger than anything I had encountered before. It was like an endless series of empty rooms stacked together, with a pit in the center. I don't even want to imagine what would happen if I fell in. But when I tried to go back the way I came, the path had disappeared.

I must have been in here for about 20-30 minutes already. It seems like everything here is made of concrete, and this place is so complex that it's hard to describe. But it looks like I've encountered some kind of creature in this place. It resembles a human male, but if you look closely, it's actually a mass of light taking the shape of a human. It seems to be walking around a staircase that might be the way out of this insane place. The only thing I need to do is find a way to get up there without it noticing.

I can’t believe that thing didn’t pay any attention to me at all, as if I didn’t even exist. Whatever, based on what I’ve seen, I’ve decided to name it Hikari. After I climbed the stairs, everything seemed normal compared to what I encountered down there. What I saw was a gray sky, a concrete floor, and countless rectangular concrete blocks. After I jumped down from one of those blocks, I heard the roar of something. I immediately knew that this place outside must be even more dangerous than down below.

It’s just as I thought up here is far more dangerous than down below. But at least I managed to escape those monsters. I think I’ve reached the exit of this place now. I’m not sure where this elevator will take me, but I’ll leave my notes here by the elevator, as a story for whoever comes next, to show that I’m the one who probably discovered this place first.
