A photo of the level captured by an unlucky wanderer. Their fate is unknown.
Level 214 is an incredibly dangerous level of the Backrooms that must be avoided at all costs.
Description
Level 214 is a cold, dark building resembling a school. The only light sources in Level 214 are occasional dim, flickering lights. There are many different randomly generated rooms branching off from the main hallways.
Level 214 is infested with many entities, most of which are female Deathmoths. Said Deathmoths are more hostile than the Deathmoths on any other level. Reportedly, there are Deathmoth nests scattered throughout the entire building.
Due to the immense amount of Deathmoths in Level 214, many Backrooms-related organizations have speculated that there is an entrance to this level from The Hive. This would also explain the moderate amount of other entities found throughout Level 214, including Hounds and Crawlers. Level 214 also has many undiscovered entities.
As the wanderer moves farther into Level 214, it becomes more dangerous. Once they walk about a mile in any direction, a thick layer of fog will form on the ground, and there will be no more flickering lights anywhere. More entities will suddenly appear as the wanderer walks, and the entities will become much more aggressive than earlier in this level.
Even though the building slowly gets more glitched and unstable as the wanderer moves, there are no documented places to no-clip in Level 214, making the level extremely hard to exit. It is not impossible though, because after walking for about 10 miles, a door will appear inside a random classroom throughout the level. The wanderer will know they have reached the exit when they see a faint blue light coming from a certain room. The door inside said room will take the wanderer to Level 52.
It is important to note that no artificial light sources will work in this level, so any personal flashlights the wanderer has acquired will be non-functional here.

Entrances and Exits
Entrances:
- Staying on The Metro for an unknown amount of time can lead to Level 214. This is not guaranteed to always work, though.
- No-clipping in some certain spots in Level 304 will lead to Level 214
- It is rumored that there is an entrance somewhere in The Hive, but this is just speculation.
Exits:
- After walking for about 10 miles in the hallways of Level 214, a door will appear in a random room anywhere in the school, transporting the wanderer to Level 52.
