Level Unreality – “ʎʇ¡Ͻ ✦ʇǝɹɔuꮼ0Ͻ ǝɥ⊥”

== Description ==
Level Unreality is a suburban landscape that appears to be a distorted reflection of Level 11 – the Endless City. Upon first arrival, it carries a sense of familiarity: long, straight streets, silent neighborhoods, and hazy city lights. However, anomalies soon surface—like cracks in the fabric of reality. The entire city seems… inverted. Some buildings stretch from the ground toward the sky, but appear upside down, as if gravity’s perspective has been twisted. Trees do not grow from the earth but instead burst out from within houses, as if they’ve rooted themselves in the architecture of memory. Even road signs, traffic lights, and street directions are often reversed, scrambled, or twisted beyond recognition.

Still, this Level proves to be a strange sanctuary for wanderers or those who stumble into it unknowingly. Many groups — including the M.E.G. — once lived, worked, and conducted research here. But for reasons unknown, all human traces have vanished without a sign.

== Entities ==
𝙏ℎ𝗲 𝗦𝑘𝐲𝘀𝙘𝑟𝙖𝘱𝗲𝒓𝐬 do not appear in any physical form. Instead, they dissolve into the sky itself, existing as a metaphysical presence marked by three horizontally aligned eyes suspended high in the air. Each eye resembles a human's, but the left pupil is filled with glitched code, warping, flickering, and collapsing in chaotic loops.

Sometimes, strange flowers fall from this eye. Despite their shifting, unstable forms, they are confirmed harmless—in fact, they possess potent healing properties, capable of mending everything from scratches to severe illnesses like cancer, blindness, or dermatitis.
Between the three eyes hovers an illusion of cloudy blue skies, behind which stands overgrown liminal architecture, reminiscent of Level 37—only more wild and alive, with flowers and vines growing over every wall.

The right eye, however, reveals a scene eerily similar to Level 0, with yellowed, decaying walls covered in ivy and wildflowers—at the center lies a pitch-black square-shaped void, like a door to somewhere that was never meant to be entered.

== Behavior ==
𝙏ℎ𝗲 𝗦𝑘𝐲𝘀𝙘𝑟𝙖𝘱𝗲𝒓𝐬 are generally friendly toward wanderers. They do not attack and may intervene to heal or teleport injured travelers to safer Levels. They are also capable of communication and seem fluent in English, French, and even Mandarin.

However, they become immediately hostile if anyone asks about—or attempts to approach—places such as TH3 SH4DY GR3Y or Level 7. Individuals who mention these Levels in their presence often disappear shortly after, leaving no trace behind.

It is believed that this reaction stems from a desire to protect wanderers from danger—or at least, to discourage exploration of highly dangerous areas. Most travelers who are relocated by 𝙏ℎ𝗲 𝗦𝑘𝐲𝘴𝙘𝑟𝙖𝘱𝗲𝒓𝐬 end up forgetting the Level's existence altogether, as well as the entity they communicated with not long before.

== Entrances & Exits ==
This Level is considered extremely rare, and accessing it is nearly impossible for most wanderers. However, a few obscure methods have been documented, usually involving glitches, dreams, or contact with unidentified entities.

From Level 37: There's a very low chance of slipping into this Level if a wanderer approaches an area covered in moss and flickering green light. Turning around at the exact moment the light flashes may trigger spatial displacement.

Interaction with an unknown entity in Level 9.2: Some documents suggest that standing beneath a glitching streetlight in Level 9.2 and whispering the phrase “I seek the sky that watches me” might result in being pulled into the air and vanishing from the current Level. However, this method is extremely risky due to nearby hostile entities like Hounds or Skin-Stealers.

Some organizations believe that there may still be a way to escape this Level — if a wanderer jumps into a petal falling from the eye of 𝙏ℎ𝗲 𝗦𝑘𝐲𝘀𝙘𝑟𝙖𝘱𝗲𝒓𝐬, they might be completely freed from The Backrooms and return to reality… or remain forever frozen within forgotten Levels like Level 974 or Level 414.Yet to this day, few individuals or groups have been able to confirm the truth of this claim.

== Notes ==
Several unusual items can be found in this Level, typically the result of spatial glitches or gifts left by entities.

Left-Eye Flowers: Flowers that fall from the left eye. Their shape constantly shifts, but their healing effects are real — they relieve pain, reduce cancer symptoms, and close open wounds. However, their effectiveness fades over time once removed from the Level.

Distorted Flip Photos: Polaroids scattered between the eyes. When backlit, they display unknown Levels or sleeping faces of the viewer. These photos cannot be taken out of the Level — they vanish the moment one attempts to leave.

Common Supplies: Wanderers may also encounter useful supplies like Almond Water, Lucky O’ Milk, Star Candy, or random canned meals found along sidewalks. These provide essential nutrients and energy.

== Logs ==

“Some say… if you stand behind the buildings where light casts no shadow, and press your hand to the wall—cold like shattered glass—something will happen.”

"But not everyone returns to tell the second half."

– From a partially burned, ownerless journal

Beneath the trembling layers of glitch, some claim to have "slipped" out of normal space. They speak of streets unmarked on maps, and houses that exist as bugs in the code of reality. But no one can confirm this for sure. Only the wind whispers—and a few distorted voice recordings remain.

"I saw an alley… not on any layout. There were streetlights, but the light shined backward onto black ground. The wall… opened, like it had no substance. I think I went inside, but… I’m not even sure I’m still me anymore."

Behind buildings, in the corners where walls meet, cracks fade—not with time, but with how often they’re seen. If you stare long enough… maybe you won’t see anything at all.
