Level 844 is the 845th level of the backrooms
There are no actual photos of the level
Description
Level 844 has been defined a "Sentient" level that changes its
rules depending on the situation. Its structure is, in fact,
very unstable and this property makes it one of the
most difficult levels to classify in the backrooms. In fact,
so far, the M.E.G. has no concrete proof that
it is actually Level 844 and that it actually exists: the only person who returned from the level
described it as a world where chaos is even more intense than in the levels
discovered so far in the backrooms.
The only person to have returned from the level is named Daniel Boost. He said that before entering the level he was running from some party-goers in level 0, and at some point he noclipped through a completely dark wall that was glitch like changing shape and size. He later said that he found himself inside the tower of a medieval castle positioned horizontally. According to him, the tower, in addition to its orientation and gravity, also had glitches and huge holes, but not holes caused by the passage of time, but rather it seemed as if that part of the tower had suddenly disappeared. He continued to wander for days until he found a door, which Daniel described as the door of a mountain cabin; so he passed through it to try to get out, since the tower stretched infinitely in both directions, and he found himself falling 9 meters to the ground in the middle of a forest of giant gray trees where only silence reigned and there was not a living soul. According to what was said, the door he had passed through was connected to another part of the level where the door was suspended in the air. Daniel claimed that at that moment he felt reduced gravity and indeed went down into the forest without even getting a scratch.
The only photo received from the wanderer
The last thing the wanderer reported was the moment he left the level; he said he had found a glitched area where a plastic chair could be seen. Almost out of desperation, he entered this area, said it was almost directly connected to the forest, and then he sat on that chair from exhaustion after walking. However, as soon as he tried to sit, he noclipped through it and fell into a gazebo on level 9.
It is believed that the level also has other areas that have not yet been identified.
Unfortunately, the death of the vagrant Daniel was confirmed three days after his return and before the interview by M.E.G. agents on the subject of entities and possible entries and exits from the level.
Further information is reserved exclusively for staff for the safety of vagrants.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level.
Entity
The only entity reported by the vagabond is called by him: The Acromatic, there is no data on the entity. If you see or hear something unconfirmed approaching it, it may not be human.
Wanderer's notes
Here are the notes found with the vagabond in Level 9; he claims to have written many more, including detailed descriptions of many areas of the level, but he probably lost them during the no-clip, and some of those found were in such poor condition that Daniel had to remember what he had written for the M.E.G. agents.

I’ve been here for a few hours and everything feels strange, this tower seems endless, and through the holes I can only see an infinite area in shades of dark blue. Could it be the famous Blue Channel level? Well, it’s not important for now, I’ll keep wandering to find an exit.

Since only one person returned from the level, no certain entrances and exits from the level were found.
