Level 75 is a finite but large—forget that. This hell is where I got. I can't stop hearing whispers, and I am sure I see shadows all over this place. I think the exterior does not exist. I can't find it. And I simply can't leave this place. I'm starting to go insane. This level is so hard to exit… I need help. What's that thing? Is it… a human? No way! Hey there! I was walking here for such a long time and—

Description
Level 75 consists of large and dark (but not completely dark) slums with isolating properties.1 A lot of people are stuck inside this level, as it is not rare to get no-clipped to here. The number and identity of the entities inhabiting it are currently unknown. All attempts to communicate with The Lord (that resides inside this level) have failed. Smilers and Skin Stealers have been reported inside this level. The M.E.G. abandoned exploration attempts one week after the level was discovered due to the high difficulty of navigating through those areas and the darkness on the level.
This level seems to emit a high quantity of CO₂. Instead of what is normally seen in The Frontrooms (0.04% in the atmosphere), this level has a much higher emission of CO₂, which composes up to 3% of the atmosphere. This can cause headaches, dizziness, discomfort, and maybe even death in some severe cases if a human is exposed for too long. The buildings may have up to 4.25% of this gas in the air, making buildings permanently uninhabitable, but they can be inhabited temporarily.
It is highly recommended that wanderers not try to enter the Slums and the level as a whole. Over 34 agents from The M.E.G. were lost in this level (either by going missing or joining the Slum Lords), where 3 of them tried to break into the Slum Lords' headquarters, saying they were going there seeking revenge for the death of a friend from the B.N.T.G. They were later involved in transformation number 142. Trying to go into unauthorized areas is heavily discouraged. The rest of the agents went missing inside Area 1, presumably lost, but maybe still alive.
The Lord was seen inside Area 3 by some wanderers. They described it as a big, humanoid, and green figure. Although the veracity of these allegations is questionable, they aren't completely ignored. There were also rumors from this same source that said the number 1423 is "everywhere" in the level. This affirmation is being studied. If you see anything related to it, do not hesitate in informing us.
Area 1—"The Center"
An alley inside Area 1.
The Center is where wanderers generally enter the level from. This area is also the main slice of the level, where most of the entities and buildings are present. This area is also the only area in the whole level that has isolating properties. The division of non-isolating and isolating areas on the level caused a strange effect where a wanderer suddenly vanishes after entering certain areas (which compose the vast majority of the level).2
This area carries a constant stench of rotting food, mixed with the same musty odor as Level 0's carpet. It's unknown where these smells come from. Entering some specific alleys in this area can cause either death or disappearance. There is a really small chance that wanderers will instantly get teleported to Level 6 after entering this level, as they will, in this case, be teleported to a building (always one that leads to Level 6) as soon as they enter the level. If a wanderer enters this level, it's impossible to first appear inside a building. The only exceptions for this are the buildings that automatically transport the wanderer to Level 6.
The buildings present in this area are empty, with the vast majority having 1-3 functioning lights inside. The walls inside the buildings are always made of white concrete.
This area also has an abandoned shopping mall at an unknown location. This was confirmed by a small group of wanderers. They also mentioned that the mall was colliding with some houses, just like in a "buggy video game," like they said.
In this area, feeling watched, seeing shadows, and/or hearing whispers are things considered common. The Slum Lords confirmed this was The Lord observing whoever got on the level.
Area 2—"The Exterior"
This image was captured within one of the buildings located in Area 2. Note some structures from Level 11 in the background. While it is day on Level 11, it is always night on Level 75. Also, this is the only part of Area 1 that has lights, caused by its proximity to Level 11. Trying to go near Level 11 will cause a no-clip to Level 11.3.
The Exterior is an entrance ramp to the Slums. This is the hardest area to enter in this Level, as the wanderer always appears in a different location on the level, and it is hard to navigate through it because of the isolation, lack of resources, and the big distance needed to travel. It was also discovered that accidentally no-clipping in this area (can happen at any time) will take the wanderer to where they firstly appeared on the level (Area 1). This area has approximately 1.5% of CO₂ present in the atmosphere.
A road seems to be connected to this area, but it is blocked by a locked metal gate. This area is considered safe for wanderers. This area also has a greenhouse that has resources that are constantly being regenerated. This area spawns types of food encountered in restaurants, such as freshly and nicely cooked Chinese/Japanese/American or Brazilian meals. Also, these meals already spawn with a fork, a knife, a plate, and, of course, the food.
This area is divided into sectors. Sub-area 2A (fruits and functional seeds) and Sub-area 2B (spawn points for prepared meals). Sub-area 2B has 4 hallways. The Brazilian, American, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines have one hallway each.
The contradiction between Areas 1 and 2 may bring a false sensation of safety when, in reality, Area 2 is surrounded by danger, especially when a wanderer can unintentionally no-clip back to Area 1 at any time. It's possible that the Slum Lords used the infinite food availability to bring more inhabitants to the level. For these reasons and the constant danger of the CO₂, it is not recommended to inhabit the level, even with its infinite resources. Not much can be said about this area, as it is small and seemingly empty.
Area 3—"The Slum Lords' Headquarters"
An image found by a wanderer on some posters near Area 2. The poster affirms this image was taken on the 1st floor, right above the lobby.
Another image found on a poster, that states this picture was taken in one of the halls on Floor 35, which seems to be under maintenance.
Slum Lords' base of operations. The outside presents a tall and thin building, with exactly 35 floors, with 15 workstations each. It is currently unknown what is on the inside (except for what the images shows and what is visible from the outside, mainly the lobby), as all the attempts to enter were denied by their owner. However, it is known that this area has about 5% of CO₂ in the air. This number was presumably increased by the Slum Lords to avoid unwanted visits.
It was reported that this area has some entities, but the majority are trapped inside their headquarters for research purposes requested by The Lord. The headquarters' lobby also has a big statue that resembles The Lord. It also seems to have red marks.
The data gathered from this area is missing. For this reason, it is impossible to provide more information about this area.
Audio Log number 1423
The following log was made by the B.N.T.G. Its objective is to gather as much information about the Slum Lords as possible.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities
The Slum Lords
- The Slum Lords are a group of wanderers who recognize themselves as the best and most reliable group for exploring, trading, and caring inside the level for those who qualify to enter the group. If a wanderer that doesn't qualify tries to join, they will be sacrificed to The Lord. What happens after this is unknown.
- This organization is run by what they call "The Lord." The Lord is a hostile entity. The Lord seems to force the members of this group to stay inside the level and gives them respiratory masks so that they aren't affected by the high CO₂. This entity seems to have psychological abilities, such as manipulating people, which seems to be the cause for so many members and followers. These masks seem to have infinite oxygen, powered by a "big machine thingy inside the headquarters," according to a member.
- The Slum Lords affirm that they follow The Lord because they think it somehow saved the level. However, some wanderers rarely say that they are forced to. A wanderer explained that the Slum Lords offered food, but now the members are stuck in the level because of The Lord.
- This community seems to have strict rules of how to behave while being a member of it, such as no eating inside the headquarters, no leaving the workstation without permission, and, of course, no disrespecting The Lord or other members. Not following these rules will cause the person to "suffer the consequences."
- This group has a very strict hierarchy. Those who don't follow it will be severely punished. The lowest class are the "Workers," who operate in the headquarters. This class is followed by the Sacrificers, who make sacrifices for The Lord. These are rarely called transformators. From what we've been told, the group tries to bring the participants of the sacrifice into the group before actually doing it. If this process is successful, it is called a transformation, and the participants are spared. A real transformation can be seen below. The "Callers" are the next ones. They call wanderers to enter the group. And then, The Lord is on top.
- A poster found somewhere in the level reveals that the Slum Lords practice weekly rituals.
- A wanderer revealed that the Slum Lords are docile at first, offering resources.
- The Slum Lords currently has ~900 members.
- They're accepting new members. This group is heavily armed, and they seem to be hostile to other groups and entities (sometimes even to wanderers.) Contact with this group is dangerous and not recommended.
Transformation/Sacrifice number 142, 3 participants
Speaker 1: Lord, I brought them today. They're the agents who broke into our base earlier.
Speaker 2: Please… spare us. We can fix the damages.
Speaker 3: You all are insane. Let us leave! We'll die here!
Speaker 4: [distressed]
The Lord: Quiet. I will make them suitable.
(complete silence for almost 2 minutes)
Speaker 2: Do to me as you must, my Lord.
Speaker 3: Proceed as you see fit.
Speaker 4: Thank you for the chance, Lord.
The Lord: Much better. Thank you, [REDACTED]. Prepare them for reassignment—they will serve as Workers.
(The Lord points at Speaker 2)
Except for this one, who will be a Caller.
Speaker 1: Understood.
(recording terminates with static)
The B.N.T.G.'s "Slum Base"
- The B.N.T.G. has a base deep in Area 13, called the Slum Base.
- This base was set up to help wanderers traversing through the level.
- This group avoids and is hostile to the Slum Lords.
- They accept new members, trades, help, and more.
- This base is heavily guarded by 12 members.
- There is space for wanderers to rest, but the process of entering this area is difficult.
Entities
It's unknown how many/which entities are present in this level; however, it is known that this number is not too high and includes Smilers and Skin Stealers (excluding The Lord, who is described below.) There were also some Deathmoths near Area 3, but the Slum Lords assures the public that all of the spotted Deathmoths are now contained.
The Lord
The Lord is the leader of the Slum Lords. It (sometimes called "he," "she," or "they") is a hostile humanoid green entity, with some scratches on its skin. After using its manipulation abilities, the victim seems to see The Lord differently. Pictures also seem to follow this rule. The Slum Lords' members sometimes call it 'an angel that saved level 1423 by isolating some areas.' The reason this group likes the isolating properties is to "avoid stupid wanderers." This was said by a member of the Slum Lords. The way The Lord did this is currently unknown. This entity also has its own documentation of the Backrooms, including Level 75, which is usually referred to as Level 1423.
This entity seems to be able to manipulate humans, generally offering food and safety, doing so with anyone it sees. If a human gets too close, it will start to attack them. The Slum Lords seem to be the only exception. The Lord is also described as angelical for normal wanderers and/or members of the Slum Lords. This is presumably an effect of the manipulation.
This entity seems to have direct contact with the other entities present within this level. They are sometimes referred to as "non-lordian" and/or "The Lord's Slaves." Although The Lord is an ally to these entities, it also seems to help the Slum Lords kill them. For the reasons mentioned above, it is not recommended to approach The Lord.
We are scared of it. We simply are.
A wanderer said that just by seeing the creature, they started adoring it. That green parasite added the isolating properties here, somehow. Also, we have scarce information about the true purpose of this entity. Building an army, maybe?
We don't care about this level anymore. We lost over 30 people in here. The group, the entities, the isolation, the lack of exits… everything is deadly here. Also, entering this place randomly is common. There's also the CO₂. [REDACTED] passed out while just breathing. This… is a pure hell. Thank God they finally accepted that if someone falls in here, there's absolutely nothing we can do.
We are The M.E.G., but we are also humans. Completely stopping the exploration attempts was the best thing we ever did. Also, I totally understand the B.N.T.G. creating a base in here, but we don't have any conditions to create one, as the tunnel is already occupied by them.
