View From Level 7

Level 7 is the 8th level of the backrooms. Level 7 appears to be an small office-like room.

Description:

Level 7 is a small office-like room that changes depending on the wanderer; the only things that are always present in this room are as listed. A desk, chair, window that often looks out onto a city that is presumed to be Level 11, and a door with an 8-digit code that only recently has been opened.

There have also been reports of random items ranging from notebooks to computers displaying random and strange stuff.

These events are displayed below. There are only a few documented accounts of these events due to the few accounts of wanderers finding this level.

Strange Items:

Phone: There have been 2 documented accounts of a phone constantly ringing at the front desk. This phone, no matter what, continues ringing even if it’s destroyed or interacted with; the only way to prevent the ringing is a number that you are familiar with. This number can be any number that you can vaguely recall. This phone is also recorded to progressively elevate in volume, which eventually can become damaging.

Backpack: There’s only been 1 documented account of a Backpack; this backpack was situated at the back of the chair, which can be found behind the desk. The said backpack contains strange and dangerous items. The items that were found in this backpack are as listed. Dumb Gum, Smiler repellent, Fire salt, Liquid silence, a notebook that’ll be mentioned later, and Glasses, which like the notebook will be mentioned later. The backpack itself is that of a typical school backpack, which contains six pockets and a grey hue.

Computer: The computer which is situated on the right side of the desk is the most common event that a wanderer may encounter. The computer in question is a 1990s computer that has a 100-digit passcode that until recently was not unlockable. The contents of Said computer include 40 documents, which include information about an unnamed and undocumented company. The only notable thing about the files is a file named 01010111 01101000 01111001 00100000 01100100 01101001 01100100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100100 01101111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100 00111111. The Contents of this file are empty.

Paintings: There have been 4 documented cases of Paintings. They are often situated on the right side of the room. These paintings are like those of Level 57. These paintings are noted to be lifelike, almost like a portal. There have been 2 cases of wanderers touching the paintings and getting teleported to the level they depict, like Level 57.

Glasses: The Glasses are a Recent item that can be found in the backpack. The said glasses, upon equipping, depict three noticeable things. The first thing is a map, which is situated on the left side of the room. This map is presumed to be that of the level. The second is notes, which say the following messages. Why are you here, why did you do that, and why are you here, Jacob? The last thing you’ll see is an entity that has been code-named Elliot. This entity does not interact with the wanderer; he instead does normal office work. For example, working on his computer, writing notes in his notebook, and being on the phone with an unknown entity or individual.

Notebook: The Notebook is yet another recently discovered item that is known to inhabit the Backpack. The Notebook contents are as listed, A 100-digit passcode that can be used to sign into the computer, Messages like those of the messages seen through the glasses, and an 8-digit code that can be used to open the door.

After unlocking the door, one will no-clip to level 4. The level beyond the office is as of now unknown. It’s also been noted that items native to the level can’t be brought to other levels and are presumed to stay in the level.

Entities:

The only documented entity to inhabit this level is Elliot. Elliot is known to perform average office-like work. You can investigate these activities in the Glasses Section.

Bases,Outposts, and Communities:

No Bases have been Situated at this level due to the rarity of entering and the lack of resources.

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:
• You can very rarely no-clip to level 936 by finding a table situated on Level 4.
• Finding a Painting on Level 57 like that of level 7 can, in extreme cases send you to level 7.
• Attempting to use a computer on any level has an extremely low chance of sending you to level 7

Exits:
• Exiting Level 7 Via the door, no-clips you to Level 4
• Touching the paintings that sometimes show up on level 7 will send you to the level they're depicting.
• Staying on level 7 for an extended time can teleport you to levels that contain offices.
