Description
Level 581's architecture is a blend of 1980s and early 1990s aesthetics, featuring geometric patterns, pastel colors, and chrome accents. The floors are covered in checkerboard tiles, and the walls are adorned with abstract art and neon signs. Escalators and elevators are scattered throughout, though they often lead to unexpected locations within the mall.
Every store in Level 581 is dedicated to retro gaming and computing. Shelves are lined with vintage game cartridges, floppy disks, and boxed consoles from the golden age of gaming. The stores are meticulously organized, with sections for different eras and genres. The stores mainly include made-up stores, including Pixel Paradise, Retro Rewind, and Arcade Alley. There are also stores from The Frontrooms, but the only one known to be in the level is GameStop.
Time behaves unpredictably in Level 581. Some days, the time is faster, and others, the time is slower. Watches and clocks often display incorrect times, which prevents wanderers from knowing the real time.
Some stores have hidden back rooms accessible through secret doors or by solving puzzles. These rooms often contain rare and valuable items, but they can also be traps or lead to other dangerous levels.

There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level.
Entities
Level 581 is relatively safe, with very minimal hostile behaviors in entities. However, wanderers should be cautious of:
Mallrats: Small, mischievous creatures that resemble anthropomorphic rats. They are generally harmless but enjoy playing pranks and stealing small items. Mallrats can vary in age and gender. This entity is exclusive to Level 581 and can be tamed with cheese found scattered around the level.
Facelings: Facelings can be found walking or working around the level, they are completely harmless and can play many roles. Similar to the Mallrats, the Facelings in this level can vary in age and gender.
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
You can stumble upon Level 581 by walking into a mall in Level 11.
Exits
Exiting the mall will lead you back to Level 11, but there is a small chance it will lead you to Level 9 instead.
