Description

Level 3333 is a vast, monochromatic desert landscape characterized by endless sand dunes and an eerie, artificial atmosphere. The level is perpetually shrouded in a grayscale palette, enhancing its surreal and unsettling nature. The sky is a void-black canvas, devoid of clouds or any celestial bodies, save for a solitary ALL-SEEING EYE. Similar to Level 0, wanderers are unable to meet.

Hazards

  • Certain areas of the desert floor are prone to sudden collapses, revealing hidden pits or dangerous drops.
  • Pockets of high radiation are scattered throughout the level, requiring specialized equipment to navigate safely.

Visual Hallucinations
  • Seeing nonexistent oases or bodies of water in the distance, only to find more sand upon approach.
  • Perceiving the sand dunes as moving or changing shape.
  • Glimpses of shadowy figures or other wanderers that vanish upon closer inspection.
  • The horizon appearing to bend or warp
Auditory Hallucinations
  • Hearing faint whispers or voices
  • Hearing footsteps
  • Hearing loud screeching
Tactile Hallucinations
  • Feeling as if insects or small creatures are crawling on their skin, despite there being nothing there.
  • Experiencing sudden and extreme changes in temperature, such as feeling intensely cold or hot without any environmental cause.
Olfactory Hallucinations
  • Smelling scents that aren’t present, such as the scent of flowers, smoke, or decay.

Anomalies

Spatial Anomalies
  • The landscape appears to stretch infinitely in all directions, making it impossible to find a definitive edge or boundary.
  • Certain areas of the desert defy the laws of physics, with paths looping back on themselves or leading to unexpected locations.
  • Patches of sand that defy gravity, hovering in mid-air and creating disorienting obstacles.
Temporal Anomalies
  • Wanderers may find themselves repeating the same actions or events, unable to break free from the cycle.
  • Time may pass at different rates in different parts of the level, causing confusion and disorientation.
Visual Anomalies
  • Parts of the landscape may appear to glitch or pixelate, revealing the artificial nature of the level. Sometimes, touching these glitches can be dangerous, but not always.
  • Certain areas may reflect the surroundings in strange ways, creating mirror-like surfaces that distort reality.
Physical Anomalies
  • Sudden changes in gravity that can cause wanderers to feel lighter or heavier, or even float off the ground.
  • Objects that appear solid but become intangible upon closer inspection, making it difficult to interact with the environment.
Psychological Anomalies
  • Wanderers may experience sudden and inexplicable memory loss, forgetting important details about their journey, life, or even their own identity.

Entrances And Exits

Entrances

The only way to enter this level would be through the portal in Level 42, although entrance is rare because the destination of the portal is entirely random.

Exits

It is highly unlikely that wanderers will escape, as they usually go insane, forget the concept of an exit, and die of starvation or dehydration.
