Sound Wavers are a collection of parts and devices; whose purpose is to manipulate sound.
Description:
A headset-type sound waver instance.
Sound Wavers are often found Objects; that reside in levels similar to movie theaters, radio stations and hotels. Most commonly being; Level 5, Level 68 and Radio Backrooms' Studio. The age of these devices differ from the 1870s to the 1980s.
All known instances of Sound Wavers have the same models made by the man who invented the first modern headphones, Nathaniel Baldwin.
Properties:
Sound Wavers can be plugged into devices and used without any abnormality. Anomalous effects only occur when their audio jack is forcefully plugged into a surface without any prior holes. These surfaces mainly consist of walls, doors, ceilings and floors.

When plugged into a surface, Sound Wavers greatly fortifies the other side's sound and gives it off from the output part1 of the Sound Waver.
Additionally, all known Sound Wavers have different volume levels. Although it is proven not possible to change the said sound waver's volume level, horn-type sound wavers and headset-type sound wavers have their own sound ranges.
Horn-type sound wavers tend to be way louder than their headset counterparts.
Discovery:
They first came to the attention of the M.E.G in ██-██-2007, when an unknown wanderer handled a note to a M.E.G guard in Base Beta. The said wanderer ran away as soon as the guard took the note.

After that date, Sound Wavers started to be found in various levels including The Hotel.
Uses:
Headset-type sound wavers are most suitable for stealth-requiring situations, they can be used to detect Entities without the risk of being detected.
Horn-type sound wavers are great for distracting entities and getting out of sticky situations. However, it should be bear in mind; while trying to puncture a hard surface with the jack of a sound waver, it is possible that the entity in question might hear the thumps and approach your whereabouts quicker then anticipated.
