The mines of Level 670.
Level 670 is what you'd normally and or probably expect when shown a quartz mine. One of the differences being lengthy stretching corridors and rarely visible entities.
Description
Level 670 is a infinite quartz mine, resembling an average mineshaft. Most places in Level 670 share features such as a broad stone pathway, wires and cables stretching through the entrance and exit, and barely working lanterns that give the level an orange atmosphere.
The level is like a maze, with there being long hallways and a confusing layout. The average traveller might either start in a giant parlor-like area, or a hard-to-breathe space that doesn't look manmade. Like most levels, the layout of this level is non-euclidean. GPS devices seem to not work within the level itself.
The entities in Level 670 were once theorized to not exist in this level. Until someone accidentally discovered a different part of the level that let all the entities in by accident. This happened because people were digging the walls with pickaxes and quartz tools in hope for an alternate path in the level.
Different forms of quartz can be found in this level, such as amethyst, citrine, and rose quartz.
Entities
Due to this level not being fully explored yet, there may be entities in this level that haven't been discovered. The currently known entities are Nguithr'xurhs, Crawlers, and Deathmoths.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities
When Level 670 was initially discovered, wanderers made a small outpost in order to help the people in need. However, once the M.E.G. was notified of the levels existence, they made a new base called "Base Lambda" and the other outpost slowly got less popular.
M.E.G. Base Lambda
- This is the seventh main base of The M.E.G.
- It is located near where most wanderers that no-clip here start.
- This base is relatively weak because of the lack of materials in this level.
Acervus
- This group has 13 people in it.
- This groups purpose is to hoard and trade crystals.
- This group used to help people until Base Lambda was made.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
Only one entrance has been proven to work constantly. Finding a hole near one of the orchards in Level 557 and jumping in it transports you to this level.
Exits
Finding a dark spot in the level and no-clipping through it may take you to either Level 6, or Level 486.
