Level 182 is the 183rd Level of the Backrooms. It may just be one of the safest Levels in the entirety of the Backrooms.
Description:
Level 182 is a long corridor with many doors, similar to that of Levels 21, 26, 87, and 88. Somehow, even though this corridor is seemingly many miles long, you can still walk from one end to the other in about ten minutes.
The main corridor looks similar to Level 0, without the buzzing lights. As for the rooms, there have been many descriptions of it being a single room, a house, or somewhere out in the wilderness, that makes the occupants feel comfortable and safe, usually somewhere from the occupant’s memories.
Reports say that each occupied room has a name on it’s door for each occupant of the Shelter, and that they were only able to enter the door that had their name on it. Entity 144 can enter any room in the Level freely.
Some people who have been to the shelter have reported seeing dangerous entities roaming the main hall, later discovering that they were occupants of the Shelter.
Staying too long after you’ve fully recovered will anger The Samaritan, where it will then leave you on a much more dangerous level than you were prior to being brought to the Shelter.
At either end of the corridor, there’s a door that will lead to The Samaritan’s room. The room itself is more of an open field than anything, however there is a cabin out a little ways from the door. In the cabin there is simple furniture, being tables and chairs made out of logs, and a single light hanging from the ceiling. The back wall is covered in pictures of entities and people that are supposedly previous occupants. Some of the entities on the images haven’t been identified yet. Unfortunately, cameras don’t seem to work properly in this room.
Entities
Usually only Entity 144, but The Samaritan will still help injured or dying entities that could be dangerous. Any living thing in this Level, other than The Samaritan, is called an “occupant.”
Some entities that have been seen here are Male Deathmoths, Skin-stealers, Insanities, Death Rats (though it’s unclear if they’re even supposed to be there), and even Smilers.
Colonies & Outposts
Colonies and Outposts cannot be made due to the nature of Entity 144.
Entrances and Exits
The only way to enter Level 182 is to have a near-death experience, and hope that The Samaritan brings you there.
The only way to EXIT Level 182 is to wait until you’ve fully recovered and tell The Samaritan what Level you want to be on. Upon doing so, the next door you open will lead to an unpopulated area of the level.
