Class 2

  • {$two}
  • {$three}

Level 844 is the 845th level in the backrooms. Level 844 is an endless golf course encased in a thick fog that limits sight.

Description

The golf course is excessively large, spanning an approximate 162,000 kilometers squared. The golf course features neatly trimmed grass and rolling hills in either direction. It is unknown how this grass is trimmed. The ground is always moist and the grass is covered by dew. However, there is no reported weather cycle on the level, as level 844 is always foggy.

Level 844 features different golfing holes; some as short as a few meters, while
others stretch on for as far as 10 kilometers. All of the golf courses are separated by concrete paths that are weathered down and have cracks. Various types of trees are commonly spotted along the paths in Level 844 which provide shelter and protection from entities.

Sometimes, there are shallow bodies of water on Level 844. These bodies of water are usually only a few meters in depth but can be very cold. Some ponds can be used as a water source, while others are toxic. Bodies of water that are clear are considered safe and drinkable. It is currently unknown how these waters become toxic, but a leading theory suggests the toxicity comes from the soil. Also, the soil on this level is unable to grow or sustain any plant varieties besides those that are native to this level. Level 844 has a day/night cycle that resembles that of the Frontrooms. During the day time, golf balls are visible in the holes. However, at night time all golf balls touched by a wanderer will vanish. The process repeats as new golf balls spawn in the morning. Each of these golf balls has different effects.

Types of golf balls

White golf balls:

White golf balls are the most common type. They have no effect.

Pink golf balls:

Pink golf balls are relatively common and are usually hidden around trees; they are also edible. Their taste has been described as very similar to raisins, despite them having a hard shell.

Red golf balls:

Red golf balls are a bit harder to find, but they are well worth it. When thrown at an entity, or another wanderer they will become very slow, which makes them easy to out-run. They will not return to their normal speed for a few hours.

Blue golf balls:

Blue golf balls are usually found at the bottom of ponds. The interior of these balls contains almond water. However, they can be difficult to get and open.

Black golf balls:

These golf balls are extremely light, and can be thrown with ease. When it comes in contact with a wanderer, they will immediately pass out and will not wake up for a few hours.

Entities

At night, Wretches and Clumps are known to roam the hills of Level 844, so it is thoroughly advised to seek shelter.

Various small groups also inhabit Level 844. These groups usually gather all the red and black golf balls they can and engage in warfare against each other. These groups are usually hostile and unopen to trade.
