Description
Flora.
Level 816 is the 817th level of the Backrooms. It seems to encompass an entire planet that is about 1.26x the size of earth. It can be classified as a "Superearth" due to the high habitability and size of the level. It has been observed that the level lacks any tectonic movement or other natural disasters.
The planet is inhabited by animals similar to those found in The Frontrooms, these animals are usually passive or mildly aggressive towards human life, the level seems to make these animals more docile. There has been found 0 proof of previous human or otherwise intelligent presence on the planet.
Deep inside the forest near the polar zones.
There are dangers here, those dangers being frost and heat. In the desert it can spike up to 140°C in the winter and over 200°C in the summer, and on the south and north poles it is too cold for human life to thrive without a thermally insulated habitat, the temperature can be a mild -40°C in the summer and a wild -100°C in the winter. Due to these temperatures it is not advised to cross or stay inside the desert or the poles in the level.
Discovery
The level was discovered after a M.E.G. team was attempting an escape from entities on level 11.3, after they were cornered they had to no-clip through the only object out of place in the rooms, a painting of a vibrant green landscape. After arriving in level 816 they first thought they were in back in reality but they soon discovered that the level was in fact not reality but rather it was a habitable level with lots of possibilities for a permanenmt base.
Dense forest in the most habitable part of the planet.
Flora and Fauna
This level has some kind of effect on most creatures that are usually hostile to humans (tigers, polar bears, etc.) this effect does not affect humans unless they try to damage the huge trees found on level 816. The level seems to be very protective of these trees and it prevents anyone from chopping or otherwise damaging them. The trees can be as tall as mountains and as wide as rivers.
In the tropical zones there are flora conveniently named megaflora, this is because they are huge, each plant can go 100s of meters underground and multiple square kilometers on the surface. These megaflora are gathered for their fibers, these fivers are as strong as steel and good at withstanding high pressure. The gathered fibers are then pressed and woven together to create either building materials or clothing both being lightweight and as strong as metal.
Edible moss found on trees in this level.
Entities
No backrooms entities have been observed in the level so far, only creatures classifiable as entities are mildly aggressive animals present on the planet even vefore the discovery of level 816.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities
M.E.G. has decided to turn some parts of this planet into sprawling bases where wanderers can do almost anything, this action is heavily supported by the B.N.T.G., they are currently setting up large trading outposts in the cities. It has also been decided to leave the forests be, because of the effect they induce when they are attempted to be removed.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
No-clipping through a painting with a vibrant green landscape, or a paintings otherwise mentioning nature, flora and fauna. These most often appear on level 1, level 5, level 9, level 11 or level 48. The paintings have been found in locations other than these but it is unproven to be consistent. Be warned, these paintings are very rare and quite difficult to find because there are only 2 - 3 paintings present on a level at the same time.
Exits
By going onto a flat area with a lot of rather short flora it is possible to go to level 10.
By going inside a cave it is possible to be transported to level 8.
