Description
The state the town of Level 793 is in.
Level 793, commonly referred to as the "City of Steel", resembles an abandoned industrial town used for goods processing, which has been long forgotten and left in a state of advanced decay. Debris is almost everywhere, with the structures appearing on the verge of collapse. According to investigations conducted by M.E.G., the buildings are constructed from a steel-like compound and reinforced concrete — materials that are usually strong in composition but very fragile in their current state. Most structures are barely standing, and even minor vibrations can cause catastrophic collapses. Wanderers are strongly advised to move cautiously, as there have been numerous reports of sudden entity movements triggering building failures that buried them under tons of debris.
The city is enclosed by a towering 10-meter tall fence composed of the same indestructible steel-like material. Atop the fence is tightly wound barbed wire of the same material, that further discourages any attempt at escape or intrusion. The perimeter is breached only by a single gate, positioned not far from the entrance to the main factory complex. This gate, like the rest of the fence, is featureless — save for a large, stylized gas mask emblem embossed on it. When a steel rain event begins, the emblem eerily splits down the middle as the gate creaks open, roughly 20 minutes into the storm. All attempts by M.E.G. teams to force the gate open before a steel rain event have ended in failure, either due to constant entity interference and/or the complete ineffectiveness of known tools and methods.
Little is known about what lies beyond the confines of Level 793’s boundary. All recordings and almost all other information cease to exist once a wanderer crosses the level’s fence — exiting it. Making it almost impossible to gather reliable data on the exterior of the city complex. The only trace of the outside world comes from the faint, often fragmented memories of those who venture out of the level, but these recollections vary widely. Some wanderers claim they saw a sprawling city, while others insist the area is surrounded by dense forests. Due to the inconsistency and conflicting nature of these reports, a definitive description of what exists beyond Level 793 remains unknown, leaving its true nature a mystery.
The Factory
The main part of Level 793 is a massive, multi-story factory situated at the heart of the city. It is the only structure in the entire level that shows almost no signs of decay unlike its crumbling surroundings. The factory spans four floors, each with distinct characteristics and hazards.
The first floor is accessible to both wanderers and entities. It is largely empty, housing a few dormant machines scattered throughout. Some entities roam freely here, while others appear trapped in dense, metallic webs composed of thin strands of what looks like steel. Despite its relative openness, the floor remains hazardous due to high entity presence.
The second and third floors are completely sealed off by a set of indestructible double doors crafted from a material identical to the steel-like compound that forms the perimeter fence and gate of Level 793. These doors have so far resisted all forms of physical intrusion. Several M.E.G. teams have attempted to breach them or gain entry through the windows, but all efforts proved fruitless, similar to the failed attempts to open the city gate.
The fourth floor, which also serves as the factory’s roof, is considered the most lethal area within the level. This is where the factory’s toxic exhaust is vented through arrays of industrial pipes. These emissions are extremely hazardous to all forms of life. The fumes contain a vaporized form of molten steel that somehow retains its physical lethality in gaseous form. Any living being, be it human or entity that inhales or comes in contact with the fumes is almost certainly doomed, as the vaporized steel rapidly infiltrates and destroys organic and inorganic tissue on contact.

The Buildings
It is strongly advised to avoid entering the crumbling buildings within Level 793, as they lack almost all structural integrity and pose a significant risk of collapsing at any moment. For those who choose to explore them, extreme caution is essential — movement must be deliberate and minimal to avoid triggering a collapse. A single structural failure can cause a chain reaction, bringing down surrounding buildings and resulting in a large-scale collapse across the area. Additionally, wanderers should remain alert for hostile entities, as many are known to become aggressive upon spotting intruders within their territory — resulting in sudden movement and structure collapse.
The Outside
This section of Level 793 is not as hazardous as the factory or the building interior, but caution is still highly advised to the frequent entity encounters and possibility of buildings collapsing. Wanderers may encounter known threats such as Smilers, Deathmoths, Clumps, Hounds, Skin-Stealers, and Wretches. Most entities appear to move slowly, likely to avoid triggering structural collapses. However, upon detecting human presence, they become highly aggressive — abandoning caution and attempting to get to the human.
The factory never stops working.
Anomalies, Dangers, and Entities
Steel Spiders
CONCORD ENTITY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
HABITAT(S): Level 793
Steel Spiders are an entity that seems to be exclusive to Level 793, typically found closer the factory. All encounters thus far have resulted in the entity attacking all human life on sight with the highest measured speed exerted by a Steel Spider being about 81 km/h1. However, encountering one does not guarantee death, as they exhibit a notable fear of Almond Water, which appears to corrode both their bodies and their steel-like webs.
When unprovoked, Steel Spiders weave webs made of steel-like threads that are far more adhesive than natural spider silk. These webs are laced with microscopic barbs that embed into the victim’s skin or clothing, making any struggle only tighten the entrapment further. Additionally, the webs are coated in neurotoxin that affects both organic and inorganic creatures. Steel Spiders are capable of consuming other entities such as Clumps if they become ensnared in the webs, but they generally remain neutral toward other entities and focus almost exclusively on hunting humans. These spiders can climb vertical surfaces with ease and possess enough strength in their limbs to break through brick and steel.
The Figure
CONCORD ENTITY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
HABITAT(S): Level 793
A currently unidentified figure has been reported to be seen by multiple individual wanderers as well as wanderer groups. M.E.G. has sent a couple groups to the level with a secondary task of proving the reports but none have been able to observe the entity. Currently M.E.G. has decided to stop attempts to gain information about the figure due to the extreme dangers of Level 793.
What can be gathered from the infrequent observations of the entity is that it seems to be clad in steel clothing, boots and what seems to be a hat also made of steel. Some reports have seeing it either dragging or carrying around a large, misshapen metal object resembling a deformed club. Some have also noted that whenever they saw the figure, a distinct metal scrapping sound would be heard by them alone. Although several wanderers have attempted to approach or follow the figure, none have returned to share what transpired, leaving its nature and intentions entirely unknown.

The Steel Rain is a phenomenon within the level that happens at the very end of the escape window. It features what seems like molten steel pouring from the clouds of fumes created by the factory and sent out via the pipes on its rooftop. This is the final opportunity to escape Level 793 as the downpour of molten metal will melt everything but the factory. Except, the clouds send down a part of their toxic fumes with the metal, as such creating a trap for all those hiding in the factory's walls. The torrent of pouring medal has been measured and is approximately 1500°C2.
It seems that the level completely resets after all life has been extinguished, all wanderers that have entered Level 793 report it to be unscathed other than its "Base" state. There has been a case that a wanderer actually survived the downpour and had built makeshift gas mask — one that could be locked out of providing airflow and have the filter swapped out. This attempt was documented on the wall of the 3rd floor of the factory by the wanderer, some believe they survived while some say they didn't bring enough filters and perished like all others.

Bases, Outposts, and Communities
Due to the amount of dangers and inconsistent exits no Bases, Outposts or Communities have been set up here.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances

The exact method of entry into Level 793 remains unclear, but most wanderers share a common memory: they recall being on an industrial-themed level and opening a massive, heavy steel door — identical in appearance to the indestructible double doors on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the factory. This recurring memory is the only consistent detail across multiple accounts. M.E.G. has narrowed down several levels are they believe are entrances to Level 793, as survivors who managed to escape the level have reported arriving in them with a faint memory of being in them right before arriving in Level 793: Level 2, Level 141, Level 277, Level 566, Level 654, Level 740 and Level 901.
Exits
There is only 1 consistent exit from the level which stays consistent. By waiting for the steel rain and leaving Level 793 through the gate. It leads wanderers to one of the following levels: The Hub, Level 2, Level 3, Level 10, Level 141, Level 217,Level 220, Level 414, Level 420, Level 566, Level 603, or Level 901. The levels it leads to seem to be random, all known exit points don't have a common theme or type. An unproven theory exists that says that this exit is not concrete, rather that it always leads to a Random Level.
Any other previously used exits from Level 793 become inactive once they’ve been used, and a new potential exit point is generated elsewhere within the level. Observations suggest that if a wanderer successfully escapes, they are typically returned to the same level from which they originally entered Level 793.
