Description

Level 380 has been named the Lonely Road as the level contains a single road and a forest along each of its sides. It is presumed that the road is infinite although no proof exists.

Level 380 resembles a rather typical looking evergreen forest with a long straight road running through it. The forest around the road looks like a very dense evergreen forest even though at first it seems it is only filled with evergreens there are many tree types other than evergreens though they are not frequent. It is unknown why evergreens are the most frequent trees in Level 380, no research attempts have been due to the dangerous entities and effects that the level has.

There is no typical form that Level 380 takes but rather it is constantly changing bit by bit around the wanderer while they explore the level, these changes can be anything from the look of the road changing to seasonal changes and fluctuations in the time that the level is in. The seasons present within the level are as following, each season has its own environmental dangers and difficulties that the wanderer has to pass through.

Spring

During the spring, the level has no weather fluctuations or high temperatures like in the summer, rather the hallucinogenic fog is a lot more frequent. During this time the shadows can not only be seen out of the corner of your eye but also can show up almost in front of you near the trees.

Summer

During the summer, the level experience extreme heat that varies heavily across the day and night. While the level is in the "day" state it can get up to 50°C (122°F) everywhere within the level, including shade and during breezes. Within Level 380 temperature during the "night" state the temperature can get as low as -20°C (-4°C) anywhere and everywhere, thus it is heavily advised that wanderers leave the level before they encounter the summer season here.

Autumn

Level 380 has a final and rarest season. Autumn is the most environmentally dangerous season as due to the huge amount of downpour going on. However it is not pouring any typical water but rather it is pouring tritiated water in which the hydrogen atoms have been replaced with a hydrogen isotope, tritium which is dangerous to humans. Tritiated water is dangerous when ingested, inhaled or absorbed through the skin which is the reason it is heavily suggested that if anyone encounters this season they should cover every single patch of skin possible.

Shadows

The shadows are something unique to this level as there is some kind of force stopping them from exiting the level and spreading around the backrooms. Level 380 only contains shadows of entities such as Smilers, Deathmoths, Clumps, Dullers, Hounds, Facelings, Skin-Stealers and Wretches. Some wanderers report seeing Partygoer shadows but that has not been confirmed.

The shadows and shadow figures can only be seen in the corner of your eye unless it is spring time which is when the shadows can be seen almost everywhere. The shadows on their own are practically harmless, they can do nothing but scare wanderers or try and fool them, the only way they can harm creatures is by making creatures interact with the Hallucinogenic Fog.

Hallucinogenic Fog

The Hallucinogenic Fog is a fog that is only present within Level 380. This fog is highly dangerous and it is advised to leave the level before meeting it as otherwise the chance of demise due to the mix of Hallucinogenic Fog and shadows is very high. The Hallucinogenic Fog is the reason for Level 380 receiving the deadzone classification as it makes the entire level very dangerous due to its properties.

The fog has 3 main effects, the first being the aggression that it induces on shadows, this aggression is towards wanderers. Shadows turning to entities is also one of the effects of the Hallucinogenic Fog, this is also the second effect that the fog has within this level. The third and last effect that the fog has is the calming and slowing of wanderers, when a wanderer is affected by the last effect of the fog they get very docile and calm even though entities can be running at them. If one feels the effects of the Hallucinogenic Fog on them they should immediately look for exits as that is the last chance to escape the trap that this level is.

The Forest

Going deeper within the forest of Level 380 is heavily advised against due to the switch to nighttime and the larger amount of shadows present. The Hallucinogenic Fog is very frequent within the deeper part of the forest making for an almost inescapable area where dangers are everywhere. If one is lucky enough to find an exit without encountering the Hallucinogenic Fog it would amount to an easier exit from a difficult level that most don't leave, the exits in the deeper part of the forest are a lot more frequent allowing for a quicker escape with a lower chance of death unless one encounters the fog. The frequency of exits doesn't guarantee an easy time finding one.

Bases, Outposts, and Communities

Due to the nature of the dangers within Level 380 no Bases, Outposts, or Communities have been setup.
