I knew what I would have expected it. Noticed it. Realized it. Consumed it. Accept it.
I needed to leave. To escape, to break free. I went too deep
Don't you remember what you have caused?
I fucked it up.
What are you doing here?
The fallen angel have risen above. To consume you. Consume you within the darkness.
I had no other choice, my body couldn't handle the lost hope.
You were nothing. You are nothing. Not to me, or the fallen angel. All you are is a corrupted static lingering in the darkness. Too deep within the dark.
I missed him, I missed them all. I miss the yellow walls, but you cursed me here.
The striking null collapsed into the shady grey. Hell has fallen. Reality has faded. The darkness has collided. The hallways have a tone to them. It will be disturbing, but you will get used to it. The sound of static. Remember? Remember when you would come home from school and go on the TV? And there was that faint, but visible sound to it.
Ignoring me will cause nothing.

The Discontinuity Vortex.
The Discontinuity Vortex is a secret Level of the Backrooms.
The Level's creation is very confusing, and seems to be formed through recent timelines splitting apart, with each timeline having a corrupted piece to it, which ends up getting ripped off of the timeline entirely. All of these pieces have formed together into this Level.
Description:
Level description (Must not be empty)
Communities And Outposts
There are no known Communities or Outposts on this level.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
The Discontinuity Vortex can only be entered by outside forces, or entities that can time travel or manipulate time. When going into another time, there is a small chance you can end up here.
Exits
The only known ways to leave this level is by manipulating time to your own degree, which will snap you into Level -333. This is never advised due to the properties of Level -333. Another way, and the easiest way, is to time travel back to where you once were. This is risky, as you could be lost within time.
Do's and Dont's:
Do:
- Use your time capabilities wisely.
- Escape as soon as possible, you don't want to get stuck in a Time Loop event.
- Collect supplies. Finding supplies are rare, but if you find them, take them.
Don't:
- Get too curious.
- Use your abilities if you aren't informed about them.
- Touch the glitches.

The first picture of Level 808 when it was initially discovered.
Level 808 is the 809th Level of the Backrooms. Though it was discovered on 5/12/2015, matching descriptions of it has dated back to the 1970's. It was originally confirmed by a group of explorers, presumably a native colony, originally trying to create a colony within Level 129, and accidentally ended up in this Level. These explorers, after escaping through Level 6, ended up reporting about this new discovery to The M.E.G.. Since then they have pursued these discoveries, and after around 6 years of searching, they finally stumbled across what is now known as Level 129.
The Level generates itself very awkwardly and changes from person to person, and multiple people can only view in the same generated room if they are together. Otherwise, they are almost always different and unique in their own ways. This does not mean only one person can be in the Level at once, as multiple people can appear in this Level together.
Description:
Level 808 resembles approximately 900 million square miles worth of dark, abandoned rooms, usually either lacking any type of theme or having random decoration within. The most common items found within the Level's rooms are arcades which can take you to Level 40 when played, large white windows that are unbreakable, occasional bars with dusty bottles1, and pipes with Almond Water within.
The most notable thing within this Level is the extreme cold temperatures in very specific and most likely random areas. The deeper you go, the colder it'll get, dropping as deep as 1.4℉ (-10℃). The average temperature for the level is around 59℉ (15℃), with the hottest is 86℉ (30℃). Along with wanderers, most entities cannot survive in the low temperatures, excluding The Crawler Fungus and The Light, an exclusive entity (See "The Light" section for more details).
Another factor that makes this Level dangerous and hard to explore is the everlasting darkness covering the entire Level, making it very hard to navigate. It is impossible to show any light, and is not recommended at all due to The Light entity being attracted any unnatural attractions of any light source. Even instances of Lighters will not emit any source of light, which is very strange for a Lighter. The only way to emit any type of light is a loophole originally discovered by the same explorer group that discovered Level 808, but ended up being used as a way to see in the Level by M.E.G. Operative "Jonah Dunk". The loophole is simple, and that is to turn on flash in a camera, where then it will emit light for a split second. This will also not trigger The Light.
Communities And Outposts
Many people have tried to create communities in this level since the level's discovery due to the basically infinite supplies, though outposts only last for around 3 to 5 months, the longest being up for almost a year. As of now, there are no known Communities or Outposts on this level.
Entities
Entities become more rarer the deeper you go within the Level, excluding certain ones. The entities that exist here are Smilers, Deathmoths, Dullers, Bursters, Nguithr'xurhs, The Crawler Fungus, Death Rats, unconfirmed sightings of Camo Crawlers, Wormlings, unconfirmed sightings of Sixarms, unconfirmed sightings of Skin-Givers, and the exclusive entity called The Light. Note that most entities in this Level are rare, the most common being Smilers, Dullers, Wormlings, Deathmoths, The Crawler Fungus, and The Light.
The Light
blah blah
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
- The easiest way of entry is via the Level Key found within one of Level 9's houses.
- Another easy way to enter is by finding an elevator within Level 20, taking you here.
- The final, and most undiscovered entrance is seemingly through Level 556. It is unknown how to enter through there, and therefore the exit remains unconfirmed.
Exits
There are many exits in this Level, though most are dangerous, and should be avoided.
- Finding a deep puddle within the Level and diving into it can take you to Level 6 or Level -2.
- Finding an arcade machine and inserting any type of coin into it, then playing the game for a little while will slowly transform you to Level 40. This is the safest way of exiting, and is recommended to leave through here.
- Finding the occasional window within the Level shining bright red instead of white and No-Clipping into it will take you to Level 9.1.
- Open your eyes, listen to the song chirping in the oasis.
- Going very deep into this Level or going into cold areas can take you to Level 129. This Level is dangerous, so make sure you remember how far you have went and how cold it is. You don't want to accidentally or intentionally end up in this Level. This isn't always the case, but it is recommended you do not take the risk.
Logs
Day 1
Hello? Is anybody out there? I'm in need of assistance right now.
Let me explain what's going on first. So I was in Level 129, It's pretty dangerous. But thankfully, we managed to get out. That's when it got really bad.
We ended up in this Level. It's very dark, and I can only see through the flash of my camera. It's super old, and I'm afraid that entities are just going to kill me at any moment. No supplies in here either. At least I'm with some pals of mine, 3 of them. And we got weapons and food, so we are prepared. This is not to mention that it is freezing in here. I don't know if it's colder here than in Level 129, but it sure does feel like it. I'll update later.
Day 2
I'm back! Not dead, thankfully. But somebody is injured.
First things first, this Level does, in fact, have entities. A lot of them, actually. A pack of Smilers came out of nowhere and slashed one of my friends knees. We don't know what to do. But good news is, we found some supplies in this Level! Took long enough. They taste disgusting, but it isn't Almond Water. It's beer that we found from a dusty bar. It's a bit too dirty for me to see what the actual drink is, and it doesn't taste like anything I've drank, that's for sure.
We can't sleep, either. We see some lights here and there, but they disappear as soon as we even get close to them.
Day 3
Oh no.
Bad news, the guy who got injured got kidnapped by a fucking Duller. We looked for him, but we couldn't. If that isn't bad, I'm not even mentioning all of the Death Rats, a Nguithr'xurh, and The Crawler Fungus. Though, the last one was just saying that he swears he saw one, but we don't know for sure.
It's also getting super cold. Like, unbearably cold at this point. I'm trying to convince the team to turn back, but they said no and that we need to keep going. I'm about to abandon them on the fucking spot.

The staircase that leads to the second floor.
Level 549 is the 550th Level of the Backrooms.
Description:
Level 549 consists of a massive; finite building. The rooms never seem to hold a set theme, and are always inconsistent. Unlike the generation, the common objects found have a set structure. These include sowing machines, office supplies, and other items. Most items are broken or in a state where it is unidentifiable.
Within Level 549 holds two (2) floors. The first one is the safest. Little to no entities are in sight, safe or neutral outposts and bases linger around, but are rare. And the Level is in a stable state, excluding the broken items scattered around. The second floor, however, is quite the opposite. Entities are common within the second floor, hostile outposts linger commonly, and the floor is very fragile. It is never advised to enter this floor due to the hostile environment.
Entities are rare on the first floor, but common on the second. blah blah

Design Protocol
Design Protocol are a small group of people, only rounding to 7 people. They do not have a known base or outpost to stay in, but due to their frequent moving around, they may not have one at all. These people are neutral unless provoked, and are well known for their common graffiti scattered around the Level. The graffiti seems to not be consistent, and is rather random.

Hello? I don't know who I'm sending this too, but I hope I can reach out to somebody who can help answer this question and get me some assistance.
Basically, I have recently found multiple system file .txt logs scattered in the storage unit database 184. They are.. concerning, to say the least. They aren't even up in the database to view, just in the storage. I don't even know how they got there because we disconnected all storages above 100, right? I'm confused and a bit concerned for the person that wrote this.
-Database Staff Member, Joshua Mills
I think I got in. My friends are in here with me, too. We finally got in.
Entity Number: #
Habitats: All
Description:
Entity 22, more commonly known as "Grael" (Gr-al) is a crudely drawn stick figure, usually varying in size to the drawer's will. The entity doesn't hold any unique features, excluding his notable top hat. Grael is usually stubborn and almost aggressive to wanderers and entities, though why is unknown. Grael is also capable of speech, though only through online services and connections.
This entity is very similar to Entity 150, also known as "Zade". This is because of their very similar functions, locations, and behavior. While Grael is aggressive just like Zade, there is no known way he can harm or kill anybody in any physical or psychological way. This is because he is in a piece of paper. As for location, Zade will make itself appear on a piece of paper; Grael has to be drawn out by any living organism. Once that is achieved, he will be able to appear in that Level, even when drawn in other Levels. So far, the known Levels he has been able to get to are Level 0, Level 1, Level 4, Level 9, Level 11, Level 7.9, Level 144, Level 155, Level 233, Level 556, and The End.
Do's and Dont's:
Do:
- Stay away from him if you can.
- Try to befriend him if you cannot avoid him. He may start to like you.
Don't:
- Attack him. He'll get even more aggressive.
Ugh! What fucking idiots! All of their stupid information is wrong! Wrong wrong wrong!
I am nowhere close to that stupid Zade guy! He's a bitch with a huge ego!

Luke: Hello. Is this the person that has discovered Entity 22?
Wanderer: Yes. I have met him quite recently.
Luke: Alright, we got the right guy. Just checking. Now, we can get to the questions. Where did you meet him?
Wanderer: Level 155. I saw a picture of him. He was talking to me. He insulted me. He was quite rude, to say the least.
Luke: That is to be expected when meeting Entity 22. He is known to be aggressive.
Wanderer: Okay. What's the next question?
Luke: Did you attack him?
Wanderer: Yes. I ripped his paper apart. I didn't see his 'body' the moment I made the first tear.
Luke: What happened afterwards..?
Wanderer: I exited out of the Level.
Luke: Alright.. We will ask more questions tomorrow.
Summary: The wanderer seemed to be in a constant state of distress before and after the interview. We would ask him about it, but he simply ignored us.

The only known photo of Level 558.
Level 558 is the 559th Level of the Backrooms. It was discovered in 2019.
Description:
Level 558 is very simplistic and generic, a simple two (2) story house with a basement, and some outdoor scenery. The Level's house seems to be decently big, possibly infinite, but it is unknown how long the outdoors go. The house is largely unfinished, with only a few things set up and boxes scattered around frequently. Inside these boxes could hold Almond Water. The Level is known to be eerily silent, even measuring at -7.1dB.
While the indoors are safe, the outside is the opposite. The outside is very simple; a dark, foggy backyard with plain grass with objects and other items commonly found within a backyard2. The only sounds in this Level are the winds and branches snapping. There are no known useful items in this Level, and the exits are dangerous outside, so it is not recommended to enter this part of the Level.
Bases, Outposts And Communities
There are no known Bases, Outposts and Communities on this Level anymore.
Entities
Indoors, little to no entities reside. The Paintings are the only confirmed entities in the indoors. Unconfirmed entities indoors include Skin-Stealers, Wretches, and Shadow Facelings.
Outdoors, however, are much more different. Smilers are the most common entity in the outside. Shadow Facelings can also be found.

The Corrupted Zone is an enigmatic level in the Backrooms.
Description:
The Corrupted Zone is a highly documented Level which holds many Sub-Levels, exclusive Entities, and outposts. The Level has been documented heavily by a variety of Groups, most notably, The M.E.G.. The Level is known to not have a set theme, and rather it is a cluster of random themes, designs, or architecture.
Sub-Levels:
Stable Sub-Levels
The first known image of Sub-Level.1's forest. The Level has always been known to be in a constant state of night, and sometimes, even foggy. The Level is also unusually cold, usually going at 30°F (1.111°C).
Description:
Sub-Level.1 is the first Sub-Level in The Corrupted Zone, and is considered the first Sub-Level of "The Stable Sub-Levels", though, it is unknown if there are more. Sub-Level.1 is also the most most documented Sub-Level. Sub-Level.1 resembles very closely to Level 0Zero within TH3 SH4DY GR3Y, an infinite jungle-like forest. Many buildings and objects can be found around the jungle. These include sheds, warehouses, and broken down vehicles3.
As for supplies, many useful items are quite easy to find. The easiest way to acquire items are within the buildings previously mentioned. Most items include Almond Water, canned goods, weapon(s)45, and other similar items.
To enter, you have to find a corrupted tree within TH3 SH4DY GR3Y; to be specific, Level 0Zero, and touch it. After that, you will immediately snap into Sub-Level.1. To exit, it is rather difficult. Finding a dark tunnel or sewer can take you to Sub-Level.2, and in rare circumstances, Level 183. Another exit is by digging in the ground, which when dug deep enough, will take you to Sub-Level.4 or Sub-Level.5.
NOTICE AS OF 5/21/2021 AND ONWARDS: A wildfire in the woods has somehow occurred within the forests and burned down over 3 million square miles worth of woods and buildings. The results were damaging to the wanderers and outposts in the Sub-Level, buildings and land, and most of all, the trees. While Sub-Level.1 is still habitable, it is recommended to stay away from this Sub-Level until further notice.
Entities:
Currently, there are no known Entities on this Sub-Level. Due to this and the lack of any danger, this Sub-Level is considered safe and secure.
One of the more linear and straightforward paths in Sub-Level.2, barring striking resemblance to Level 2.1.
Description:
Sub-Level.2 is one of, if not the smallest Sub-Level currently documented in The Corrupted Zone, only barely going over 2 million square miles. It resembles multiple tunnels and sewers, some say they look similar to the ones in Level 2.1. Many lights can also be found, some similar to Level 2.1, but currently, no sightings of The Hikari have been documented.
Commonly, tunnels and doors can be found. Most of them either have gates in front of them or the doors being locked. Most, however, can be easily broken into. Inside of them usually hold junk; like empty boxes and random objects. Supplies can be found also, like Almond Water and other items. Most of the tunnels are used for transportation, while the rooms are used for bases and outposts.
Supplies are quite rare. Almond Water can be found in the rooms previously mentioned. Wanderers have said that certain bottles are poisoned, but so far, no evidence exists currently. Streams of Liquid Pain can be seen in certain; inconsistent areas of Sub-Level.2.
To enter, you must find a tunnel/sewer pipe in Sub-Level.1, which when deep enough, will take you to Sub-Level.2. You can also exit back from you came from if you enter through this way. There is also an unconfirmed entrance from Level 34. To exit, you can either go back to Sub-Level.1, as previously mentioned, or find a hole with light coming out of it, which will take you to Sub-Level.3 or Sub-Level.6. Both of these Sub-Levels are very dangerous, so it is advised to never exit this way. You can also exit to Sub-Level.4 by finding a tunnel covered in grass and moss.

The only known entity to exist here are known as The Devloves (dead-lov-s). See The Devloves entity page in the "Entities" section for more information.

Storyline
Chapter 0
Chapter 0 is pretty simplistic, as The MEG just gets a notification about a Level 330 going to destroy the backrooms ahhh ooohh so spooky!!! Course they don't believe it
Chapter 1
Chapter 1 is when things get interesting. The MEG and The BNTG get alarmed that a wormhole is sucking up people and entities, sometimes parts of levels. These openings lead to the blue channel btw. Anyways they send in some dudes to check it out and they are supppeeerrrr confused n shit. The wormhole becomes more and more frequent too.
Chapter 2
This is when destruction and chaos happens. The AAA is getting mad that they aren't getting customers, so they go out there and start to kill people and beg for customers. Meanwhile the eyes of argos are getting pissed at The AAA for killin people, as its sinful. The MEG/The Overseers try to fix things ASAP, while The BNTG trys to calm people down. Entity 100 tries to go in the future, and sees that somebody (isn't revealed yet hehe haha) dies. So he goes and tries to save the person. He just doesn't know where he is.
Chapter 3
This Chapter is the introduction to berry and his cult. The Visionaries Of Berry ends up finding out about the wormhole shiz and watches berry get fuckin swooped up in one and just goes missing. Entity 100 watches it happen also and hints at him trying to save berry.
Chapter 4
This is the first character death revealed (They never state that berry died). Entity 100 gets mad at the MEG for not listening to his message (Which turned out to be him!!! wooo) and he gets mad. He ends up having the idea to fucking freeze time like its Level -333 or some shit. Overseer-B goes in and stops him, but also dies. The end
Chapter 5
Remember when I said argos got pissed at The AAA for being sinful? Well yeah now they wanna kill them for killing and being sinful. The AAA and their leader Sam get mad and fight back. They kill a decent amount of argo dudes, and argos killed a decent amount of AAA dudes, but The AAA just kinda splits up and the leader flees too.
Chapter 6
A lot happens in this chapter. For example, argo's group tries to find the leader and a bunch of AAA dudes to finish the job, the MEG watches Level 9 get torn to shreds, and The Visionaries Of Berry finally realized that berry is dead. However, Entity 100 realizes he's dead. He goes back in time to get pre-berry, and goes back to the present. So technically, berry is dead. It's just the current one is from the past. The Visionaries Of Berry decide to make a deal with Entity 100 to never interact with him, and they agree. The Visionaries Of Berry leave and just kinda never return
Chapter 7
Alright in this one Overseer-C almost gets destroyed by a portal, and half of his body is gone. Overseer A and C team up with Sam to fix it, and they do. However, Overseer-A kidnaps Sam anyways. So yeah, Andrew is half robot. Swwwaaagggg
Chapter 8
A bunch of BNTG leaders get into an argument and split into three (3) groups. The Shadows, The Glitched Members, and another group which isn't named. Level 5, Level 4, Level 27, and a few others get destroyed too. The argos declared their victory, saying that they killed everybody in the AAA (course tho they didnt).
Chapter 9
Basically, Overseer-A makes a deal with Entity 100. 100 gets some origins on mech, and they go to Level 400 ooooohhhhhohohohohoho. They take the deal and leave
