Level Unintelligable as originally discovered

Level Unintelligable is an unusual level in the backrooms. This level is an infinite hallway with strange properties and anomalies. The image to the right is the first image that was retrieved from Level Unintelligible.

Description

Level Unintelligable is a large wide hallway that stretches in a straight line. This hallway features blue metal walls with a few large pipes, a grey concrete floor, and a few lights on the roof here and there. The walls in this hallway are indestructible. The grey floor isn't like a normal floor because, despite the fact that it looks dry, it always will be slippery even if a wanderer attempts to dry it. The lights on the roof may occasionally go out but usually, they remain on. The pipes on this level won't be encountered till around 500 miles down the hall.

Another Depiction of Level Unintelligible at 53,000 miles from the entrance of the level.

Upon entering this level, for the first 1-25 miles or so, the wanderer usually won't be met with any entities whatsoever nor will they stumble across any loot. If a wanderer was to travel down the hall for about 30-50 miles they will start to come across vents occasionally in the wall. If the wanderer was to enter these vents they would be teleported further down or closer to the beginning of the hall(usually 10-90 miles from the vent). The power of the vents is unknown and of the few wanderers that reported back to M.E.G., many have left the vents alone. Also the further down the hall you go, the more deteriorated the level gets. There will be more flickering and broken lights and even some vines and brush growing on the walls. The floor is also said to be cracked and worn down as well as it being more wet than the floor at the entrance of the level. Another property that has been noticed by wanderers when traveling deep into this level is the feeling of paranoia that this level gives off. Luckily though it hasn't yet become a problem for most of this levels wanderers.

Despite the handful of wanderers that are documenting information about this level, there currently has been no confirmed case of any wanderer(s) that could explain the weird anomalies and strange events that occur here. The unfortunate fact of not being able to determine the time some of these strange events happen has led to it being difficult for wanderers to document information about this level accurately. There have been two major studies done on this level and out of one of the successful studies done by wanderers at this level, it's said that if one were to travel 53,750 miles down this hallway, they would be met with a void-like environment in which most the environment is not stable and instead is a very dreamy like. This is still currently just a scientific theory, and there is not enough factual evidence to prove whether or not it is true. The second study was conducted by 2 of this levels wanderers who "proved" that there are other rooms that can be entered at this level by entering pipes many, many miles down the hall, approximately (500 miles) down the hall when they will be encountered. These are small rooms deep in the halls that take the shape of a large master bedroom. This was an experiment conducted to see if there were any other lifeforms and structures at this level.

Though there is typically no problem whatsoever with them, there are a few reported entities that have been documented to exist at this level. These include Hounds, Smilers , Facelings and in some rare cases there are even Doll Faces Entities at this level typically only spawn either in the dark areas of this level or just deep in the hall. Even though this level is seemingly just an endless hall, there have been reports of objects found on this level. For such a structured level there is quite a variety of objects here, but they typically don't show up often. These objects commonly include, Liquid Silence, Fire Salt, and a large amount of Almond Water. In some rare cases, there have been reports of Memory Jars and even Royal Rations.

Bases, Outposts, and Communities

Currently, there is only one known base at this level that consists of wanderers that are conducting experiments and studies to learn more about this level. There are currently not many wanderers that agree to stay at this level long enough to conduct experiments, which is one reason there haven't been any more bases created here.

Gemeinschaft für Biogefährdung und Experimente (Biohazard and Experimentation Community)

  • Community consisting of approximately 13 German operators(Who lived in Germany upon entering the backrooms) that have agreed to conduct experiments and document information about this level.
  • Located around 270 miles from the entrance of the hall and was created not long after the discovery of the level, and has continued growing since then. It takes the shape of a handful of tents full of supplies for the "scientist" to conduct experiments.
  • Some camps have also been set up in the rooms in the halls.
  • Operators are armed with an immense amount of fire salt and other objects found deep in this level.

*Main purpose of GBE is to document enough information and learn enough about this level to where it could be more habitual for wanderers to live safely.

Entrances And Exits

Entrances

*There is only one known entrance to Level Unintelligable and it is to just no-clip here through the walls in hallways of Level 21 which will send you to the begging of this level.

Exits

The main way to leave this level is just to no-clip out of this level through a random vent down the halls which will result in you typically being sent to Level 5 or you can sometimes get lucky and no-clip through the wall in the hall which typically will also result in the wanderer being sent to Level 5
