Note
Foreword: This voice log is not the first discovery log, but a general exploration log. There have been other reports of Level 123, though this log is likely the most valid and thorough of them.
Day 1, 10:05
*device beeps loudly*
"No, no, this can't be. This isn't the city. How did this even…? Okay, okay. My name is Michael __________, and uh, seems like I accidentally exited Level 11, and damn, I'm unprepared. So this place is full of Ferris wheels, you know, the big wheels that spin around in amusement parks? That's kind of how I got in here. I entered an amusement park in the city, and there was this weird cabin laying on the ground. It looked out of place, if you understand. It was locked, and I tried pulling the door harder; it worked, so I entered it. Turns out, this was an entrance to this Level. I have actually heard of it from a friend yesterday, uh, "a sky full of Ferris wheels", right? But it looks otherworldly. I'll look around and keep you all notified, alright?
Day 1, 10:32
Alright, I'm in one of the Ferris wheels and it's still spinning. I tried unlocking the door, and it simply doesn't work — it's locked. I just want to get home, man. The cabin I'm in is covered from all sides by this thick metal, and there are these weird small screens near the ceiling. It’s demonstrating a looped animation of how Ferris wheels work and spin around.
*phone camera clicks*
Meh, completely useless for me. I would've started recording a bit later to gain a little more information about this Level, but… Hold on. Oh fuck. I think the Ferris wheel is about to collide with another smaller one. Fuck, fuck, fuck! I'm preparing to jump anytime now. No way!
*series of loud thuds*
Fuck. Open already. I will die here if you don't. Whoever is locking the doors, please fucking unlock them. I'm about to fucking die in here if you don't. Help, someone. Hey?
*loud thuds stop*
Huh.
Day 1, 10:55
Fuck. I thought that this was recording all that time. Alright, so, the doors just unlocked magically, and I had a chance to jump to another Ferris wheel, I сaught the door of another cabin, and managed to climb inside it. Damn, this is very weird. Never thought I would've made it. I'm alive, that's what matters, I guess. This cabin was entirely empty, except for this bench and one water bottle below it. I just tried it — ordinary water, yeah. Nothing else, except for one electrical outlet on the other side. Though, one thing is, I found it strange that the doors of that cabin have been locked for all that time, and they just unlocked at the last moment. Does this Level, like, know when's the right moment to open the doors? Like, oh wait, hang on.
*small thud*
Nah, this one is locked. Okay, what if… What if I just climb out of the cabin? It's not covered, so I can just climb out. I wonder what happens if I fall, though. Will I just die? Yeah, I'd rather stay here and wait for it to unlock. Mhm.
*slight gasp*
Oh, huh. The Internet is working, though it's very slow, it's working. I'll just search the database, dude. I'll just search for "Ferris wheels", not sure if it would give any results. Hang on.
*a long pause*
Okay, this Level is not yet in the database, as the information is only being collected right now, but the forums say that there are, or at least, were people — I'm not the only one here! There is no detailed information about it. I texted my friend, and he was shocked that I managed to get in here. Like, yeah, how could just taking a stroll around Level 11 lead me here? Anyways, though my friend doesn't know much about this place, other than the fact that it exists, he knows a dude that has been on this Level, and he gave me his contacts. He answered almost instantly, and he gave me a couple of cool tips. Apparently, this Level knows what each person intends to do. So, say, if you wanted to exit the Level, it simply wouldn't let you; but if you wanted to simply move to another wheel, it would just unlock the doors. You can't just force the intention in your mind, like, it wouldn't pass that. You have to genuinely want to move to another wheel to continue your journey here. Another tip he gave me is that if the Level "lets" you crawl out of the cabin, you shouldn't fall under any circumstances. He said that those who fall will simply fall into the endless void. No one knows what happens to them after that, but it's very likely that they just die. So, technically, this Level actually saves the person, not imprisons them? That's interesting. He gave me a couple of facts, too. The wheels never stop, even for a second, but they do speed up sometimes. You can find different items, such as bottles, snacks, and other stuff in the cabins, for example, I've found a full water bottle; that's why it is unlikely that you will die from starvation or lack of hydration. Yes, there is ordinary gravity, but the Ferris wheels seem to just ignore it — they float around as if no force was attracting them down. He told me that you can't exit the cabins as you would normally do — the railings would rise if you tried crawling out, or the doors would just lock. You would need to no-clip to exit. Sadly, it is extremely unlikely that this will be possible on the first try, but, well, it's possible. The most important thing he said is that there is always going to be a bunch of people exploring this Level, of course, excluding myself. A group of some sort? I actually want to look around this Level a bit more, perhaps I could find someone. I'll take a nap for now — this Ferris wheel is just far enough from the other wheels to let me rest for, like, an hour. See you.
Day 1, 12:42
That's… uhh… a bit more than one hour has passed. Everything's alright though. Surprisingly, it feels like I am even safer now. I couldn't sleep for, like, half an hour. The noises are too loud. Ouch, I should've taken my headphones. Sleeping on a bench is not really comfortable, but it is what it is. You know, when the dude said that there were items scattered around some of the cabins, I was a bit excited. What if I could find something worthy? That would be cool. Though I feel that my journey will be mainly spent resting in the cabins. I have to wait an eternity for my wheel to get close to another, I can't really control it, it's just how it is. Actually, why didn't I charge my phone? There was always an outlet, I kind of forgot about it when talking. Damn. Alright, I will take a few notes about this Level and start charging my phone. I'll probably just relax, though I'll keep monitoring the surroundings, well, who knows, what if I die during a wheel collision?
Day 1, 20:12
What the fuck. Does it always take that much time? It's literally been, like, 8 hours, and I'm seeing a wheel approaching only now! This is probably the most boring experience I've ever had. I tried exercising, jumping around, doing push-ups; I can't sleep because of the noise.
*sigh*
Okay, as the dude said, I can't open the door yet. You know, my inner mind doesn't want to leave the cabin yet, it wants to leave the Level in general, that's why it stops me from exiting. The Level only allows me to leave only when I'm close to death. I would've already no-clipped out of the Level, my friends are probably worried that I haven't contacted them, but I'm, well, excited about exploring it. It's been months since I've last been on any other Level. I've lived in Level 11 most of my life in the Backrooms. I always wanted adventures. I'll probably stop recording because it is all getting boring. The next Ferris wheel looks very old. About a century old. It's getting closer and closer to my cabin, and it's quite fast. I think I would need to be quick to survive.
Day 1, 20:20
Meh. I successfully jumped to the old wheel, but there is really nothing in it. It's all wood, not comfortable at all. No resources anywhere, I checked every corner of this. The other cabin is so close that I could possibly even get on the top of it, of course, if I time my jump. Yeah, I'm gonna try, why not? Gonna wait a bit.
*slight pause*
*loud wooden thud*
I did it! I'll quickly get in. Never mind, it's staggering like crazy, fuck. Fuck, no, no! Is it gonna fall? Is this…? Oh, it's alright. Phew. It looked like it was about to fall off. I swear, another jump, and I'd be dead, probably falling in the endless void before that. I should probably stop recording at all; it is hard to speak into the mic on my phone and make such hard decisions simultaneously. Just going to get in.
Day 1, 20:25
I'm alright, I'm in another cabin. I'm never risking my life for some stupid item again. I almost died. But, luckily, I managed to find a bottle in my capsule! An Almond Water bottle! Finally, something useful! It calmed me down for a bit, though I'm a bit worried now, it's getting darker already. I can't even see the sun anymore, I swear, it was there a couple of minutes ago. It wasn't even instant, like, it looks like this level has a normal day-night cycle. I can't see the moon, though; shouldn't there be one? Twilight is visible right now, it will disappear very, very soon, though. This wheel is, like, 100 years old? It doesn't have any light, I guess I'm going to be stuck in complete darkness now for the next couple of hours. Or, a couple of days, who knows? This place is crazy, but not the "bad" kind of crazy. It's fun, I guess. Except for the part where I have to wait eternally or listen to these noises non-stop. Oh, almost forgot to mention, I am technically not alone — there are these Facelings, yes, the ones that also live in Level 11, looking around the sky from their cabin ahead! Three of them; and they're neutral, it seems. They act quite weird, though, they keep pointing at some points in the endless sky, almost as if there was something interesting, well, there's literally nothing. I won't bother them, yeah. Okay, I still haven't met anyone human yet, that sucks. I'll stop the recording, my battery might die soon if I continue. Yeah, it's one old wheel, definitely no outlets.
Day 2: 0:59
Guys! Guys! You won't believe what just happened! Twenty minutes ago, I was woken up by some guy screaming about a kilometer away; this means I'm not alone here! I couldn't see them at all, not even their Ferris wheel, but I saw a small light, which I suppose was coming from the wheel, almost like it was a star! I couldn't hear what he was talking about, but at least I could hear him at all — that's what matters. I was excited to meet them, but… it couldn't be. I stood in shock for a couple of seconds when I realized that my wheel was actually getting further from them, not closer. There is no way I could change the direction. This was, well, heartbreaking for me. My wheel kept drifting away from them, and then I realized that we will possibly never meet. Ever.
Day 2: 17:30
I give up. I fucking give up. 17 hours, 17 god-damn hours, and not a single sign of any wheel getting closer. This sound is driving me crazy! Fuck this shit. I'm getting out of there. How do I exit, again?
*slight pause*
Okay, no-clipping through somewhere in the cabin? Easy. Anything but staying in there. This place is not for me. Literally anything is better. I will go finish this bottle of Almond Water and try to leave this hell of a Level. Fuck this shit.
The wanderer managed to exit this Level after about two hours of different attempts, and ended up in Level 10. He returned to his home in Level 11 and contacted M.E.G., giving a lot of important information about Level 123, and helping get it added into the database.
