Description:
Entity ???, colloquially referred to as "angels," are predatory photonic lifeforms observed with increasing frequency across multiple levels following the onset of the Blackout. Angels exhibit a consistent behavioral pattern of occupying or patrolling areas illuminated by the light. Additionally, preliminary observations suggest that angels possess an innate capacity to generate light autonomously, rather than as a byproduct of artificial light exposure.
The combination of these anomalous traits has prompted extensive speculation regarding their origin, function, and potential classification within the broader taxonomy of known entities. The most prevailing theories can be found below from the M.E.G.'s top researchers.

The notion that Entity ??? is immune to Synthesial Reversal is, frankly, absurd. As demonstrated with Entity 70, no known entity is unaffected by its influence. In fact, based on patterns observed in other anomalous entities—and considering the increasing frequency of Synthesial Reversal events—I suspect that Entity ??? isn't immune at all. Rather, it’s a result of Synthesial Reversal. The process has already occurred.
That leads to a more pressing question: what was it before? It clearly couldn't have been something like a Smiler; we’ve observed their response to the process, and this doesn’t match. The real issue lies in the unknowable nature of these entities. Attempting to study something so overtly hostile and amorphous is essentially a death sentence. Realistically, we may never uncover what it once was.

They're ever-growing, and all you can really do is go where they're not. That's the thing about light and dark. Dark can only exist where light is not, so be the dark. We've developed special suits to absorb as much light as possible so it's harder to see physical form, harder to fall for their tricks.
