• Level 504: An arcade/neon mall hybrid level. Still thinking of what it’s properties should be.

Level 504 - “Nickname Undetermined” (WIP)

Level 504 is the 505^th level of the Backrooms.

Description:

One of Level 504’s many arcades. This photo, more specifically, showcases a dining area within the arcade.

Level 504 consists of a large cluster of arcades and malls, both with a neon-esque aesthetic. Each of these arcades and malls procedurally generate, although their generation may “lag”, resulting in some areas of the arcades/malls, or the entirety of the area, being invisible. The walls and floor of Level 504 both share highly colorful designs, and each of the lights are either pink, purple, or very rarely green.

Level 504 can be accessed from a store in Level 33, which is known as “The Arcade Axiom”. Upon walking into this arcade, one’s surroundings will slowly, yet surely, fade into Level 504. This change will somehow be noticeable the moment it starts.

Confirmed Exits

As of now, the only confirmed way to leave Level 504 is to enter any arcade whose number ends with a 9 (e.g. arcade #9, arcade #19, etc.), and then perform the Konami code on any of the arcade machines. This will be easy to do, as one will immediately know/remember how to do said cheat code. Upon performing it correctly, one will end up in Level 532.

Rumored Exits

NOTICE: Since these exits are only theorized, they might not even work.

• No-clipping through an arcade machine in arcade #3 will lead one to Level 145;
• It has been suggested that mall #99 contains a shortcut to Level 999, as one can find a store known as “Hawaiian Store of the Void”, and entering it is speculated to lead to Level 999;
• Breaking through the floor will lead to Level 911;
• Arcade #125 is stated to contain an entrance to The Insulation, in which this entrance could be achieved by finding a wall with fiberglass on it, and dragging your index finger on it;
• Elevators may take one to Level 790, with wanderers spawning from a lighthouse;
• Playing an educational game in an arcade may take one to Level 789;
• Witnessing a bug in a game may take one to Level 404.
