Object 272 - Comet Moss
Description
Comet Moss shares a physical resemblance to the species Leucobryum Javense found in the Frontrooms. The moss can grow up to 6 cm tall in patches as large as 200 sq feet. One peculiar detail of Comet Moss is its strikingly beautiful bioluminescence. When Comet Moss is put into low-light conditions, the gametophytes of the moss glow a brilliant violet color at an output of 15 lumens per square foot of moss. Comet Moss can be found growing on levels 37 and 39, and more rarely on levels 9 and 10.

Uses
Comet Moss can be transported to other levels to be grown as a renweable light source that does not require a source of electricity. Comet Moss can also be dried and ground into a bioluminescent powder. This powder can be mixed with water or another clear solvent to make a glow in the dark paint.
