Level -9 is the 10th Negative Level of the Backrooms. It was discovered on 26/12/63.
Description:
Level -9, more commonly known as The Rainy Campground, is a campground with a size of ~ 5 km2 (1.93 mi2).Sourrounding it is a forest with a size of ~ 500,000 km2 (193,000 mi2). The is sky covered with light, and rarely, dark clouds. Many of the clouds drop Almond Water, however it is not purified. Drinking it will not do anything to the wanderer.
Despite this, it is very easy to purify the Almond Water, because it has a minimal amount of minerals. This Almond Water is very resourceful, and it is recommended to harvest as much of it as possible.
Entities found in Level -9 include Facelings and Hounds, which both have the Level 11 effect. Other entities reside here too, being docile as well. These include Deathmoths (act as flies), Skin-Stealers (act as the elderly), Smilers (act as the receptionists) and [DATA EXPUNGED].
UPDATE: New construction of a building in Level -9 has begun. It is named "The Core", or Level -9a in our database. It will most likely be finished in 1995.

The Core, otherwise known as Level -9a, is a large energy plant powered by a neutron star 1 km (0.62 mi) under Level -9.
Description:
The Core is compromised of a labyrinth of large, heated reactors stored in a warehouse-like environment. These reactors increase the pressure around the star, allowing it to create more energy.
The neutron star itself is about 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) in width, and the mass has been estimated to be about 1.7 M ☉. The star’s only purpose is to create energy for the residents of Level -9.
