The Lush Threshold is a sub-level of The End, which has been encountered by quantum fluctuation of matters in fake realities that take place in The End.

Description

In an overgrown life, combined with a melancholic sensation and vibrant hues, The Lush Threshold is a level known to be a place which is completely different from its parents' level, The End.

The Lush Threshold is stated to be a library with densely lush and overgrown layers of flora and fauna. The library takes a shape of an infinitely expanded series of bookshelves all over the place. Unlike its parents' level, these bookshelves are now filled with a numerous amount of books that contain all languages, presumably, all the languages that ever existed may be found here. On the floor, wanderers may feel a moderately moist-ish feeling because of the thick layer of moss and wet, blueish rocks that can be commonly seen throughout this level. This level has a depth in it, it can be infintely tall with uncountable amount of floors in it but usually, these floors usually get lifted by the amount of rocks and soil in the level's natural structure.

The air in the level is filled with O3 (Ozone) so wanderers also may feel gravitionally heavy than usual (1.35x than Earth). This, however, may cause long-terms hazards for any habitants that concentrate at the level, but strangely, flora and fauna here seem to immune to this effect, they tend to grow normally and even grow better than any normal nature outside the level.

Level Properties

Since there are not much known about this level because the amount of wanderers who have encountered The Lush Threshold are very few. But, some noticeable properties that can be experienced among wanderers if they have ever been here have been reported.

Temperature Fluctuation

The temperature of the level changes unpredictably, this may cause temperature-related illnesses or injuries such as frostbite or heatstroke because the temperature can drop as low as -20°C or as high as 65°C. The temperature does not seem to have a fixed cycle and always change unexpectedly, leading to a theory suggests (Theory #TLT-01) that the level itself using bookshelves to keep the temperature always at a right state. The bookshelves has some kind of heat-resistant property, making them a reliable source of temperature controller for anyone who experiences Temperature Fluctation, the reason remains unknown.

The Landscape Disasters

This catagory contains 3 main disasters: Landslides, Land Protruding, and Extrawindy.

Landslides occurs cyclically, once every 5 to 7 weeks and lasts for 1 to 2 days. These landslides are varied in dangers, at best, it cracks a small hole underground, at worst, it creates a big hole that a bookshelf can even fall through. Because the level shares a big amount of floors that contains rocks and soil, Landslides will cause it to be collapsed and fallen into each other, usually 7 to 8 floors are collapsed because of this. Bookshelves are usually fallen into the soil and got all the books being stained. Wanderers, in the Landslides period, will have to be careful around because hazards while exploring are very much guaranteed to happen.

Land Protruding is somewhat rarer than Landslides but the chaos it provides are much heavier, it occurs every 60 days and extends for only 8 to 12 hours. Land Protruding is, well, protruding the soil or the rock above the ground level by using strong anti-gravity into the selected area of this effect takes place. Usually, the protruded floor will rise from 2 ft. to as tall as 40 ft., which equals from one-sixth to 4 floors in total. Oftentimes, this effect does not cause any major damages to wanderers themselves but if they, in any circumstances, go into the selected areas, they will fall into the crack that this effect may cause while protruding the floor and enter the floor below the protruded one.

Entrances

The only entrance has been confirmed is that wanderers will, sometimes, randomly being dematerialized by quantum fluctuation of the fake realities in The End, that would cause anyone to be here.

Exits

  • Find any books that have a Blanche signature and touch it, wanderers will be sent to The Cygnus Archive.
  • Touch the electrical vines in the level may lead to The Electroscape.
