SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY:

- Low Entity Count
This project is still in beta! Uh… who the hell completed the article for this already!? I'd barely even started on this part!
As the Wanderer progresses through the "game", they will reach a certain point where the ground and everything around corrupt more and more.
Level GaME Ch@NgEr is an unnumbered Level of the Backrooms.
Description
This level is a death trap taking the form of the favorite game of the visitor, tailored to them upon entry. This includes games from many popular series and genres, such as spAce, sci-fi, fighting, and RPG types. The most common are popular video games in the Frontrooms, such as the side scrolling Jump Man, popular RPG FightSword, and some driving game called SmashCart. Some anomalous properties can be observed on the wanderer as they progress in the level. Occasionally, the wanderer can suffer a sort of amnesiac effect, which will eventually make them believe they are the main character of the game. Also, many different documented phenomena or "RNG effects", as some Wanderers have begun to call them, can be contracted through interaction with certain area of this level, such as Phenomena 8, 15, 54. It is unknown whether or not more can be contracted. IF YOU CONTRACT SUCH CONDITIONS, REPORT IT TO MEG IMMEDIATELY SO TREATMENT CAN BE SOUGHT.
The farther and deeper the wanderer goes into the level, the more glitched and visually warped the surroundings get1. To escape this level, the Wanderer must find the end point of the game. However, this level's difficulty class is elastic, changing on the level of skill the Wanderer/Player has, which can make the level a safe haven or a virtual nightmare.2.
Of course it's a glitchy mess… I haven't even had the chance to finish everything and you humans are already here!
Choose Your Difficulty Level
The level itself is composed of two main areas: The Starter Zone, and the Endgame. Other sub-areas can be found, depending on the game the level is based on. These can include underwater areas, cave-type areas, dungeons, etc.
The Starter Zone
Here, the Wanderer has a higher chance of finding supplies, power ups, or items meant to make the journey easier. Here, the ground is very SplIntered and fragm3nted, as it has a lot of "glitches". Also, since the majority of games begin outside, most wanderers may begin in a grassy area. However, the sun oftentimes appears to have a corrupted TeXTuRE.
The brokenness of the project in its current state is even breaking the article… You shouldn't have come here yet! Everything's just so much worse now!
The Endgame
After a certain amount of progresses through the game, the ground and everything surrounding it become more and more corrupted. As the wanderer crosses through that point, they will feel a slight tingle. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This marks a form of "checkpoint". Randomly, the wanderer will no-clip back to this point, having lost all memories of their previous attempts. Checkpoints can be avoided by moving backwards away from the tingly spot, then finding an area that does not give the tingly feeling. The only way to progress in finding the level exit is to find the end of the game before being teleported back to the checkpoint3.
Textures
Since everything in this level appears to be part of a game, everything the wanderer sees is a "texture". Grass, walls, the sky, everything is (visually) made of a texture, since they most times everything is made to look like the game and not reality. The "Corrupted ##000000Text|##ures" often display a "null" or "void" texture, to compensate and prevent the areas from being totally destroyed. However, areas with corrupted textures retain their shape, so it is possible to identify what a corrupt3d area/object is.
Some of these corrupted areas of the level are instant no-clips to dangerous, uninhabitable levels, such as The Void, The End, the Hive, and Level Alpha. The reason as to "why" these dangerous levels has not been discovered as of yet.
I haven't even had the chance to patch up dangerous no-clipping areas… You caused this, do you understand? If you want things to become safer, stop coming here and documenting it!
Entity Inhabitants
In this level, an encounter with any entity is extremely rare. The only (confirmed) entities the wanderer may encounter are rare polygonal facelings that look similar to the original games' enemies or NPCs. However, on equally rare occasions, instances of Entity 106 can be found laying around randomly. The reason or cause of this is unknown. Also, certain individuals have claimed to encounter entities that looked like mobs or monsters from the original game. As these are mere rumors, this is counted as only speculation.
It's those guys who think they're game speedrunners, isn't it? Even in My RPG Project they've given me more than enough problems…
Unique Items - "Loot"
Rarely, unique items can be found in this level, including "power ups" and weapons from the original game. They will function as they did in the g@mech@ng3r and appear to be unbreakable. However, these items are very rare, and appear to be highly sought after for the effects and abilities they can grant. The properties of the item in question, depending on the discovered object, can be very similar. They can be used as weapons, and may also have strange properties that are close to the only confirmed existence of "Merch": The Guaranteed Home Run Bat, used by the individual who goes by IronSoul. See additional table below for other discovered (confirmed) rewards.
Reports have stated that the 1ndividuals known as the "Completionists" have popped in and out of the level, almost "at will" (unconfirmed), using it as a sort of transp0rtation hub, despite the dangers.
Yep… I knew it was these guys. You know what? If you humans want to mess up my work so much, go ahead. I won't have to work on it anymore. Keep coming here and no-clipping to your deaths! Some day the level will collapse and I hope it takes many of you with it! Then you can learn some patience!
God… I hate getting angry, but really? You couldn't have just WAITED? Good things take time you know, and I was planning to put so much into this! Then you just come and interfere like this!
Please, just stop coming here. Let me finish my work at least…
Bases, Outposts and Communities
There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level, as they is too difficult to establish. However, Completionists can rarely be found here, meeting up. They DO seem to know their way around the level, despite all encountering different games. The cause of this is yet unknown.
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
The only kn0wn entr4nce t0 th15 |3v3I ‘#’,> … No. Don't try to find an entrance, and if you do find one, don't use it. I've had enough.
3xits
The only way to leave this level is to find the end of the game created by the level. In doing so, you can get clipped to levels 0, 11, and 6.1. In some cases, you can also no-clip to previously mentioned dangerous levels. I've also added an option to go back right at the start of the level. If you go beyond there, it's your fault if something bad happens. And whoever is interfering with my work and corrupting it… don't be prepared. That'll make things easier.
