Level XX is a cave system-like expanse of geometrically precise deposits of various elements. The level is, for the most part; empty, due to a lack of both human and backrooms-native inhabitants, as well as a general lack of interesting phenomena which can be located inside of it.
Description
Level XX is made up of a large system of cave-like passageways, which are all formed out of a large variety of what seem to be regular polyhedra. The caves of Level XX differ greatly in size, in some cases being as wide as 10 meters, and in others, as narrow as a couple of centimeters. For the most part, the formations of the cave systems are formless and random, occasionally stopping or branching out in random places without an apparent pattern.
The level is entirely made out of different types of polyhedra, the most frequently observed ones being cubes, tetrahedra, and icosahedra, with more complex shapes appearing less commonly than the more simple shapes. Each shape varies greatly in shape, size, and composure, and it has thus far been observed that every shape present in Level XX is regular.1 Each shape inside of Level XX is made up of different materials and elements, and only out of said materials. This has been noted to be the case at a molecular level.
The shapes in Level XX are all also coloured in different vibrant colours. Such colours are oftentimes neon/fluorescent, and are never mulled or dark. These colours make it hard to tell what materials the shapes are made out of at first glance, but chemical analysis can show what each shape is made of accurately. It is to be noted that the colours are not painted on the shapes, rather, the shapes themselves take on their respective hues anomalously. No one has been able to remove the colour from a shape in Level xx.
Below are listed some of the materials which form the shapes in Level XX:
Material | Frequency | Temperature | Additional notes |
---|---|---|---|
Wood | Common | ▋ 16 °C | The Wood in this level in unable to be burnt. |
Iron (Both Ferric and Ferrous) | Uncommon | ▋ 25 °C | Despite the presence of both water in the air (And in some cases, right next to it) and oxygen, the iron in this level does not rust. |
Gold | Uncommon | ▋ 11 °C | |
Hydrogen | Highly uncommon | ▋ -262 °C | Only one instance of shapes made out of solid hydrogen has been confirmed on the entirety of the level. |
Water | Common | ▋ -13 °C and ▋ 25 °C | Comes in two forms: solid and liquid. Both are about as common. |
Carbon | Moderately common | ▋ 30 °C | |
Mercury | Highly uncommon | ▋ -57 °C | At these temperatures, mercury is fully solid. |
Hydrochloric acid | Uncommon | ▋ 20 °C |
Despite the fact that some materials in Level XX would usually combine to form other objects
