A photography of this level.
Level 306 is the 307th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 306 is a mysterious level with only fragmentary information. No regular wanderer has ever been reported successfully exiting the level, so only members of the M.E.G. have gathered the following information. The level consists solely of metallic walls, that are about 5 meters high and glow in different colors, and a vanta black-like ceiling. Any kind of damage to the walls leaves little to no marks, making it difficult to comprehend what metal they are made of or what powers the lights. Under certain circumstances, the walls on Level 306 can be very dangerous since they move unpredictably. From time to time, walls emerge from the metallic flooring, moving front to back, side to side, constantly creating new hallways, dead ends, and even simple rooms with or without exits, likely trapping wanderers and entities inside and making orientation impossible. Deeper inside the level, corpses of killed entities like Hounds, Facelings, and Smilers are not an uncommon sight. In contrary, human corpses have never been found on Level 306. The entities were most certainly killed by the only inhabitating entity of Level 306, The Robot.
You should hide now. The level you are in is unsafe.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
Due to the fact that this level could be extremly dangerous there are currently no known bases or outposts on this level.
The Robot
The Robot is the only inhabiting entity of Level 306. More information is provided below.
Discovery
The first time this level has been documented are two photos on a camera M.E.G. members found while exploring Level 306. This anonymous group states that they found a colorful flashing pit about 50 centimeters in diameter on Level 0 and were immediately pulled inside. This pit apparently led to Level 306, where the group discovered a SONY Cyber Shot digital camera with the two mentioned photos. The photos were dated to June 12, 2017, and the photographer is missing, presumed dead.
Congratulations! You escaped. What now?
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
Level 306 is accessible only through randomly generated portals throughout other Backrooms levels. There are 16 documented cases in total, as listed below, but considering that entities and probably other wanderers have entered Level 306 as well as M.E.G. members, there could have been more portals in the past. They turn regular walls or floors into round pits that show different colors in rapid succession. They have been reported in the following levels and rooms yet:
Take your chance. Portals are rare.
Exits
The portals are also the only known way to exit Level 306. One always shows up after walking exactly 2 kilometers on Level 306, and leads to Level 1. Why the portals inside of Level 306 always lead to Level 1 is unclear. Every portal disappears immediately after usage.
Quick! Jump in. Something is approaching.

Entity Number: None
Photography of The Robot appearing in a dark room.
Description:
Very few records and case studies exist about The Robot, and the known information is fragmentary. How the entity looks is currently unknown since it tends to stay in the dark areas of its level. Only colorfully glowing parts are visible without any external light sources.
It is safe here. Sit down. Take a break.
Behaviors:
The Robot's behavior is contradictory to the point it becomes unpredictable, which makes the entity all the more dangerous. The enitity corpses, that can be found throughout Level 306, indicate that The Robot kills every entity it sees and therefore is hostile towards other entities. A log of killed entities found on this level is listed below. M.E.G. members, however, state that whenever they crossed paths with The Robot, it did not show aggressive behavior but watched them silently from a dark corner. As this could be an attempt to deceive unsuspecting wanderers into approaching it, attention is still adivsed. The best thing to do is stay away from the entity and back off when one sees or hears it. It is unknown what happened to other wanderes, who entered Level 306, since human corpses or other wanderers successfully exiting the level have never been documented.
Good choice! But it is not over yet…
Biology:
Since the visual nature of The Robot is unknown, some theories on the topic have gained some popularity among M.E.G. members. The most plausible of these theories is that The Robot could be an android or robot from Backrooms Robotics that went rogue at some point wherefore it has its name. This would explain its glowing parts, just like a light source of its own. However, there is no evidence for this theory to the present day.
Get up. Keep going. Do not get lost forever.
Abilities:
Only one major ability of The Robot that lowers the chance of survival on Level 306 is currently theorised. It probably has control over the movement of the walls on Level 306. Most entity corpses have been found in still-remaining dead ends, which acted as a trap for them.
Do… not…
Discovery:
The only known photos of The Robot and Level 306 were found by anonymous M.E.G. members in 2022. The photos were dated to June 12, 2017.
