Level: 1920, The Old Room is a level that resembles something of an old 1920s study that is cramped but also cozy.

Description

The 1921st level of the backrooms known as the “old room” is a room that is 10 feet in length, 15 feet in width, and 5 feet in height.
The room is not only occupied by a chair with a desk and lamp, perfect for reading a common book, but it also includes a radio on a table in the middle of the room.
This radio plays a never-ending loop of the song, It’s just a burning memory, but every time the loop replays, the sound gets slightly more distorted until it is on the verge of being unrecognizable.
The large room gives off a comfy vibe, like you could stay forever and just sleep, like the room could never get old, or, older than it already is. There are also multiple paintings and pictures on the walls of the room, every loop of the song that plays from the radio will change the pictures and paintings so, every experience is different for everyone.
There is an unbreakable window in one wall were you can watch what seems like people going about there day, the scenery of the city outside looks to be around 1920s New York, and the people outside don’t seem to have shadows but also don’t seem to be any type of entity.
If you’re able to destroy the radio, you’ll have a 75% chance to be thrown into the void and, a 25% chance of being transported to level you cheated.
Something good about this room is that it will supply you with almond water and food every morning, with the only exception being a rainy night. You’ll also get an infinite supply of books to read in the meantime, whenever you’re bored.
But you better be prepared since, when the clock runs out ( this detail will be discussed in entrances and exits) you’re forcefully kicked out of the old room by the clock and into a different level. If you’re not prepared then it has a higher likelihood of sending you to a more dangerous level in the backrooms.
Every so often, a rainy night will occur. A rainy night is a night where the entire level is engulfed in the sound of never-ending rain. The effects of this rainy night will make the night feel five times longer than normal. A rainy night will also give you a higher chance to start and go insane. No almond water or food will appear in your room after a rainy night.

Bases, Outposts and Communities

There are no known communities or bases at this level since it is a level that only one person can be in. Even if multiple people go in at once, each person will be transported to level 1920 but with none of the people that they went in with.

Entities

Luckily while you’re stuck in the old room, nothing can hurt you since there are no entities that physically enter the room you are stuck in. The only entity that exists at this level is an entity called “the butler”. The butler is an indescribable entity since no one has ever seen him. The only thing that people know about him is that he has the voice of a male in his mid-40s. The butler also will knock on your door for an incessant amount of time until you shout the command, leave, to which he will stop knocking and not bother you for another week.

Entrances And Exits

There is also only one way to escape from the Old Room, to wait. Once you’re transported to the Old Room a timer will start on a clock in a random countdown that could take years, or minutes, it’s always randomized. So once you go into the Old Room, you’re stuck for however long the clock is set to.
The only way to enter this level of the backrooms is to enter the hotel room, 1920 in the terror hotel on level 5 of the backrooms. Once you open the door, the clock will start and you will be shut inside the room, now being transported seamlessly to level 1920 of the backrooms.
