Recreation of the level's first phase. Created by a group of professionals and experienced painters.

Dreamcore is an unnumbered level of The Backrooms.

Description

Dreamcore consists of a reality that constantly changes its style and appearance, much like a dream. During your travel through the level, you will be completely unaware that it is changing, and you will even confuse reality with the unreality of the level, with strange effects that amplify your unconsciousness and make you believe you have just escaped the reality of the Backrooms, even though you have not. Additionally, items also have random chances of being founded as the level change its structure, so always keep items for special occasions and avoid a situation where you need them but cannot find them.

Many illustrations have been given by the Wanderers of what they saw in the level, however, each proposal is not the same, with only the first part being the one that fits; it is always described that upon entering the level, you find yourself in endless rooms with blue walls and dark blue stripes, and the floor being a lighter shade of blue with an endless carpet of a darker shade. It is very difficult to describe it by the Wanderers, however, thanks to the countless descriptions and information provided by them, more information has been added to the image of the level. It has many different pieces of furniture, some of which have not even been invented or are well-known today, but generally, more human-like furniture is seen. You may see doors, but don't bother trying to open them, all you'll see will be just a paint of a blue light.

An idea that has recently gained popularity is that the level could be a connection between other parallel realities or other levels. Many describe seeing shadows, some familiar, others completely out of this world, traveling through the light of the level, which is blue due to the level's blue color effect. It is not known for sure if this could be real, or just a very popular idea, but it is considered a possible truth. It is not known exactly what these shadows are - sure, they are shadows, but not all shadows are the same, as other types of shadows, which CANNOT travel through the blue light, can be hostile, although depending on the next aspect of the level, they are less likely to be encountered, but it is advisable not to interact with any shadows, not even yours, as it is unknown what they could actually be.

This level has no specific entrances or exits. Wanderers say that to access it, you must perform a phenomenon commonly called clip-dreaming (or no-dream), which consists of entering a sleepwalking state and performing a no-clip, making it a difficult level to reach. The level's exit also depends on the level's environment. To exit, two bubbles will appear: the blue one will take you to a Backrooms level, while the yellow one will take you to your final destination. Depending on the environment, the bubble will take you to a level that most closely resembles the surroundings, making it somewhat random and somewhat difficult to predict. The bubbles take about 2 hours or so to appear according to Wanderers, but they may appear sooner.

Entrances And Exits

Entrances

  • The level can be accessed through any other level through clip-dreaming.

Exits

  • Two bubbles will appear, go for the blue one and ignore at all cost the yellow one.

I was interested; how could such a place exist and not be shown to the world?! Or the Backrooms? I mean, a bit complicated to what one would normally say, given that this is not MY world… at least not the one I used to live… I am going there, and no matter what, I'll be there eventually.
