A picture of a piano in Level 376.
Level 376 is the 377th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 376 is a finite series of non-euclidean music recording rooms. It's estimated length is 20,000 miles, or 32186.88 kilometers. This level has several instruments, and a wooden floor and walls that can be either wooden or painted white.
This level has a special property of altering rooms that the wanderer has been in before. For example when someone tries to enter a room they have been in before from a different room, the room that they're trying to go back to will change to a brand new room. This does not mean however that the Entities in the room that is about to be changed disappear. This effect does not work when at least 2 people are in a single room. This level also has a quirk where instruments or furniture can float in the air, being immovable by normal means. There are also instruments that glitch into one-another, rooms that are centimeters long, and occasional looping rooms by non-euclidean means.
A faint piano can be heard in the whole level, from an unknown source. This piano sound has been compared to several real compositions in the Frontrooms, however they granted no results, which means that the piano sound is most likely an original composition. Attempting to play any of the pianos or any other instruments in Level 376 will sound incredibly different, since all of the instruments somehow play mismatched notes (Ex. A saxophone plays the same sounds as a guitar). This level also has a risk of starvation or dehydration if not prepared, since this level rarely has necessities to live.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level.
Entities
This level has a moderate number of Entities, which makes it quite hard to survive. These entities include Gossip Beacons, Hounds, Reviooks in wooden floorboards, Crawlers along with an Entity that is only found in this level known as:
Compositions
Compositions are entities that disguise themselves as regular instruments like a piano or flute and only attack if a wanderer gets close to them, Then they will shift their components to violently try to attack the wanderer until they are dead. Their intelligence, speed and strength vary by instrument, but most of them are slightly more intelligent than a regular human. Compositions are quite easy to spot, since they are similar to the instrument they're trying to mimic but always have one thing off. For example, a piano might have a human limb sticking out of it, or a tuba might have teeth inside it. These Entities can sometimes make sounds to try to lure wanderers into it, along with producing barely comprehensive sentences when someone tries to talk to them. It should also be noted that Compositions that mimic a piano or a heavier instrument are immobile. Only light-weight instruments like a clarinet are mobile, and quite fast.
Entrances And Exits
Entrances
Attempting to play a piano in Level 74 or Level 11 will lead you here.
You can also enter by finding a loose piano key in any spot in Level 9. Trying to grab the loose key will make you noclip through the ground, and lead you here.
Exits
The only known way to exit is to break the wooden floorboards. This will make a hole into Level 427. It is also presumed that reaching the very edge of this level will have a door that leads to The Blue Channel, however this is unconfirmed.
