SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY:
Class 3
- {$one}
- {$two}
- {$three}
Level 231 is the 232nd Level of the Backrooms.
Description
remember, DO NOT GO INTO THE FOREST NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY WANT YOU TO YOU WANT TO.
Level 231 is a path on the side of what appears to be a small hill. however, upon inspection, the hill seems to go up for approximately 3 kilometers (1.9 miles). surrounding this path is a forest that is estimated to span 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) on both sides of the path. the level is always foggy with occasional rain, there is a day/night cycle that is similar to the frontrooms but a lot shorter, a day lasts 7 hours here and a night lasts 5. the last 20 meters of the path turns into a staircase, this staircase is very steep and is always slippery due to the level's constant bad weather, at the top of the staircase is the summit of the hill.
the summit
the summit is devoid of all entities and no entities can enter it, wanderers have described the phenomenon as a "border" or "wall" that no entities can pass through. the ground of the summit is granite rock with moss patches growing on the stone everywhere. the summit has some anomalous properties, no matter how gloomy or rainy the rest of the level is, the summit will always be sunny in the day time, the summit is the only place in the level that can be sunny. the summit contains most of the exits of this level.
entities
there is one type of entity that is native to this level and has not been seen anywhere else, the trail guides (see Bases, Outposts and Communities) and other wanderers alike have nicknamed them "deerlings".
- deerlings are human-like entities, a mysterious attribute of deerlings is some of them have facial features like humans, and some lack any facial features similar to facelings, this phenomenon has led researchers to think that all the deerlings were originally normal humans/entities that were somehow turned into deerlings via infection. the distinct difference between deerlings and other entities is that they have horns similar to a deer's (hence the name "deerling"). these entities are extremely dangerous and should not be approached at any costs. if they are on the path, they will attempt to lure you into the forest but as long as it is day and you are on the path, the deerlings will be docile, but the minute you step into the forest, they turn hostile. they have been reported to drag their victims deep into the forest never for them to be seen again, most likely to be turned into other deerlings.
