LEVEL 179
SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY:
Class 3
- {$one}
- {$two}
- {$three}

Description:
Level 179 is a seemingly endless set of wooden docks, the material that the docks are built from appear to be oak wood, the level is entirely outdoors save for the lighthouses which are sparsely spread across the level, 10 meters below the docks there is a deep violet colored body of liquid which stretches across the entire level. Each lighthouse possesses a rotating spotlight and should a foreign entity or person be caught by the light of the lighthouse they will be attacked by a local entity known as The Blind.
Despite Level 179 constantly being shrouded in night flashlights are not a necessary tool for traversing the majority of the level; this is because the level has a large number of lamp posts emerging from the body of liquid, the lamp posts vary in height and sometimes do not emerge above the liquid; the first occurences of lamp posts failing to emerge above the body of liquid have aided in judging the depth of the body of liquid.
The deep violet body of liquid that surrounds all structures in Level 179 is estimated to be 300-320 meters deep. People who fall into the body of liquid very rarely manage to climb back onto the docks; one person who managed to do so claimed that "It felt as if something was trying to pull me down there. I was sure I wouldn't make it back up…".
The only living beings that inhabit the body of liquid are older instances of The Blind, these entities are of a greater height than the depth of the body of liquid.
The Lighthouses:
Level 179’s lighthouses bear a shocking resemblance to Eddystone Lighthouse, located in the United Kingdom, each lighthouse’s spotlight varies in speed and distance, typically a spotlight’s distance varies from 500 meters to 2 kilometers and the rotation speed of the spotlight varies from 10 to 25 rpm. Should a foreign entity or person be caught by the spotlight of a lighthouse they will be relentlessly pursued and attacked by The Blind.
The spotlight of a lighthouse typically guards a path connecting either sections of the docks to a lighthouse, or a potential point of exit. Any foreign object detected by the spotlight is immediately attacked by The Blind. Attempts to use any object to block the spotlight from detecting a person or foreign entity have all failed.
People who make a succesful approach towards a lighthouse will be greeted with an unlocked door; behind that door lies a large spiral staircase with food and supplies at the bottom floor. The lighthouses never hold entities. Should anyone climb the stairs they will be able to access the top of the lighthouse with ease; typically there will be a weapon on one end of the rotating spotlight, the weapons sighted on these lighthouses have been recorded as knives, axes, bows, swords, and in rare cases guns. Anyone exposed to the spotlight while at the top of a lighthouse will still be hunted by The Blind.
The Blind:
The Blind are a massive group of entities which are exclusively found on Level 179, each entity is docile until a person or foreign entity have been exposed to a lighthouse's spotlight. The Blind vary in height from 7-10 meters tall in a juvenile state to 325-360 meters tall in an elderly state. The Blind possess pale white skin and have no facial traits or parts such as any eyes, mouths, ears, or noses; they possess long slender bodies and have extremely long hands and fingers. It is theorized that The Blind are a hivemind directly connected to the lighthouses of Level 179.
Juvenile instances of The Blind are commonly found to be roaming the docks of the level whilst the older variants of the entity roam the deep violet colored body of liquid. When hunting a person or foreign entity The Blind will not attempt to scratch or physically harm their target; instead The Blind will attempt to grab their prey and drag them into the depths of the body of liquid. The Blind are either unable to leave Level 179 or have never attempted doing so.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities:
Due to the size and risks of settling in Level 179 no formal bases, outposts, or communities have been formed. However there have been recordings of individuals residing within the lighthouses of the level.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances to Level 179 are reusable and will always take you back to the level you have just arrived from, however it cannot be guaranteed that the entrance will still be present once you return to the previous level. Entrances and exits are always either a bathroom stall or the entrance to a News Kiosk.
Entrances
Recorded entrances to Level 179 include:
- Certain bathrooms inside of a house inside Level 9 will open into Level 179
- Some closed doors within Level 178 will lead to Level 179 should they be opened.
- Certain Metal Doors in Level 130 lead into Level 179.
Exits
Using any of the previously mentioned methods of entrance is a valid strategy in exiting Level 179, however using an unknown Toilet Stall or News Kiosk will sometimes lead to new levels. Recorded levels include:
